So having 1 ability on cooldown with 2 empty ability slots will still have this work huh.

i didn't test just having just 1 ability but I'd imagine it's likely the same. I tried just 2 to make the test more simple, but in game I did miss having the third ability

It has no outplay potential in 1vX. The people who are defending it are like “Oh well but you can CC me while I do it and the it goes in CD”. YEA NO SHIT SHERLOCK, BUT I CANT CC YOU WHEN THERE ARE 3 OTHER DUDES ON ME… MEANWHILE YOU STAND THERE ROASTING ME LIKE A CHICKEN.

lmao brother I can literally feel the agony in your comment, they act like we have infinite cc abilities and can always reach them through a clump. ran into my new favorite the other day, he stacked so much haste I literally couldn't close the gap on him

@@Wrayzze Not to mention half the weapons and playstyles involve Cleansing mechanics and freedom perks, so you cant techinaclly (CC) them anyway.. So they have no counterplay anyhow..

it makes sense. I only play medium and heavy, currently heavy just far outshines medium. personally I would've just changed the damage difference, the 10% base damage doesn't feel nearly as significant as it used to with all the power creep we've had since launch. I think they'll end up hitting it again down the road.

@@PJsurely Imagine nerfing heavy.. New world is a game all about damage and mobility, thats why 90% of the playerbase play light armor with range+mobility weapons, and the devs see that and go hmm... Looks fine to me.. its like the battlefield is just two sides shooting arrows and firebolts at eachother from distance, devs be like: hmm, cool, reminds me of fortnite and battlefield.. I like battlefield, this is good. Then, in the middle of all that range chaos, that one melee player runs forward in heavy ( cause he must be heavy to not get oneshoot ) and he makes it up to one of the range users, then he gets kited for 3 seconds since hes melee and with no mobility, then dies. And dev sees that and goes: ... 😠MELEE??? NERFFFF. And then melee got nerfed once again😆

I can partially relate to what you're saying since I'm usually the one melee on my team charging headfirst into the clump, but I don't think the nerf they're currently proposing is going to be as damning as you're imagining it will be. our damage is remaining unchanged for now. we're losing a small bit of finesse capability, but blocking is also unchanged which I think is what they're striving for. heavy armor to be more specifically for tank style players

@@PJsurely I dont think the nerf was big, and personally i dont think heavy users lose anything from it tbh, But its the principal of them chain nerfing the underdog over and over, while they let the overpowered shit stay overpowered..

won't lie to you and say it feels good when one of your builds gets nerfed, but I think one key thing you might be overlooking is that they realized range was strong and instead of nerfing them across the board they're giving us a buff to koya's knee guards so we at least have the option to counter range specifically if that's what we want to prioritize (which I will be). but if we get the patch notes and they've only changed it from 10% base to 15%, then I take back everything I said and we riot lol

just backdoor. i play light melee and am no use when i have more than 2 ranged on me. so i just backdoor and find my 1v1 & 1v2s. the other team will eventually play objective when you take their home base down

yeah I feel like I've been driven towards a similar playstyle which kinda sucks because the best part about opr used to be the clump fights. now it's a wall of bows staring at a wall of bows... so I just skate past them

ok This could be a very clever build... i would say tho ditch burnout and go flame thrower.... you may not have the mobility but hatchet is gonna be you "out shit" weapon anyway
