How are you feeling about the June Announcement? I hope they do something soon to give us all a little bit of hope.

Amazon Game Studios had 6 months to prepare for this huge announcement… and they left their remaining LOYAL players (customers) completely confused. Their customer service and community interaction is atrocious.

7k hours. I think after today, I'm honestly done. I'll see in a couple of days, but I know others that have actually uninstalled. A sad day for new world.

Let me say the pc player base is hungry and new world starved us for 6 months than just dropped their trousers and took a huge dump on our plate and said here ya go dinners served...oh wait you're still hungry? sorry you gotta wait 4 months so we can work up a nice healthy turd for dessert.

I am a very casual player...dont even own the expansion, but I keep up with the news and was excited for the amount of hype the team put around this announcement. THIS is honestly what they had ??? Just unreal lol. They have moved on from their PC community and hope the game catches on with the console crowd I guess. Stick a fork in it imo

Disappointment in the announcement for most i believe is due to hoping AGS had an ACTUAL BIG secret that we didn't see coming. We waited 6 months to be told something we already suspected to then wait 5 more months. I remember the " wish we could tell you everything but we can't" and i get it now. If you would have told me in January that you are going to focus your attention to a new player base while we continue to play a buggy game that continues to have game breaking exploits until October 15 i would have stopped playing then but the copium was real. One thing i can count on is that AGS will not deliver a polished game and will attempt to fix bugs/create content in the most uninspired manner possible

I understand how people been playing this games a lot feeling disappointed, as a casual player who only have 330 hours total since launch. I feel no difference about the update, my friend (who all working with kids.) only get on to play together few times a week, maybe a hour or two still find many joyful fun things to do in game. We don’t have all the best gear, leveled up all of the trade skill, weapon, always able to find something new/challenging for us to do.

Im actually hyped never played thus because i dont have pc but now it comes to console so i finally have game to play that i like 😅

I think all the new content is exactly what we need for the game. The bestest problem is delaying the content for ANOTHER 4 months. They should release this content much sooner for PC players.

I put roughly 84 hours in this game but haven’t played in almost a year , i kinda wanna play again but i also wanna maybe get this on console so i can use my Xbox a bit more ( mainly play on pc ) should I jump back in on pc and just buy the dlc or wait for the console release?

I just uninstalled and changed my review to negative. Nothing left to do, and no hope for a new expansion.

So I bought this game on sale and started to play but was told over and over in the videos of the game I watched it was a dead game so I quit before I really got into the game since I didn't wanna get attached to a dead game. But now I see an expansion dropping. So I'm confused as fuck. Should I play it or just play something else?

Ha, I was called an idiot and worse when I said AGS are greedy by putting mounts behind paid expansion and not giving at least a shitty mount for base game. Now they are putting even more thing behind a pay wall.

Last I played was 2022 and was thinking of jumping back in. Only 172hours played (solo), and I did have fun...but I'm not wasting $42 on the DLC just to get the update.

This is the most incompetent dev team I ever saw. I need to apply for an AGS dev job. These guys do nothing and get paid (really well). Sounds great.

I think the things they are adding are great, doing what they are doing with the engine makes sense that it took alot of time. Just because you already knew what was coming doesn't mean you cant be excited about whats coming ? If they went hard on the bugs in the game isn't that the most important thing we have all been complaining about since day 1.

The announcement was great, the problem is we already know them and they wont deliver. A fixed game with improved graphics, and being able to fight when there is a lot of people is pretty much what i ask for. With a horde of new players that will be a great game, IF DEVS DELIVERS. Biggest if ever. Theres more content than we might think, its just that its outdated. With good player numbers and updated content it would be a great game TO START. IF DEVS DELIVER and that means they underdelivered because they were working on this, the next seasons would be great

AGS has been lying to it's player base for over a year. We have been given Road Maps and told new content is coming for a long time, while all along AGS KNEW this was the plan. They intentionally mislead it's player base for a year.

I think you guys havent realized yet they just use New World as a testing ground for new tecs to use on LOTR. Ive say it for years and many people caught up to it. Still guys, time to wake up to reality

Unless the game is on Gamepass/PSN console wont help player numbers. It's very expensive to buy on console. Should be no more than $30. Especially when there are no roadmaps.

I uninstalled. I kept it installed after I quit in march because I hoped for something big in june but that was all a lie. They gave up on us so lets give up on them. Why waste on time on a game the devs don't even care about. Value yourself more than that. Plenty of great games out there, why waste time on new world?

Already uninstalled . I hate it but I see no reason to play anymore. Plus they won’t be putting the new players on our old dying servers so unless they allow us to transfer out our characters will be pretty much irrelevant. Thankfully there is a ton of content in Destiny 2.

AGS is just toxic corpo. It's worst moment for console release in terms of game health, because console players (if any meaningfull influx anyway) will be as dissapointed as PC players after 3-4 months and many will quit after few days like PC players did. Looks like all they care is to re-sell the same game and they don't really care if players will stay, it looks like they prefer customers to buy game and leave it. It is the same game, it's "New World", adding additional word won't change anything if we don't have repeatable endgame loops. They added 2 small activities, pvp island (which will die like races) and soul trials (sounds cool, but I bet rewards are shit so it will die too). I really expected nothing, but at least another ctrl+c+v dungeon and new area was minimum, soul trials are cool, but NOT enough for almost year of no content. Imagine its all they worked on for fuckign YEAR :O

you will still play, everyone else will still play, you guys have no real backbones when it comes to moving away from this game. After the announcement, the pop dropped to 4400 today its back at 5700. What does that show? It shows people don't care what AGS do they are all talk no action and are too addicted to the game to give it up even though they are getting direspected and treated like a joke. Your like an abused kid who keeps tryhing to get their parents love.

Quit a few months ago and this justified it. Lost all faith in this dev team. They will only look at the feedback and deflect any accountability per usual. It’s the main reason they continue to struggle. They make their decisions based on “data” that they fail to fully understand over the player base. Digging themselves a bigger hole. This game is done yall. Pack it up and stop supporting this incompetent dev team who continues to be out of touch with their players.

Ags has proved over and over again they can not be trusted. Sadl6 New World was my game, but there have been too many broken promises and under deliveries. The expansion was a joke, Brimstone was more of an expansion. I left this game after only playing 3000 hours so I know a lot of you have a lot mors time invested than I do, but being a pve main player the game had nothing left for me. Console gameplay is more like tab target aimbot, especially for ranged weapons, so how thy are going to balance the PC players and console players when both side does the same OPR at the same time? Console will have the advantage over PC players... No new content for PC players, and there is no reason for new and returning players to survive against old players and there is noone to find in the game, THE GAME is DEAD...

This is the actual launch of NW... Imagine a company that got paid by their beta testers. Pure genius AGS. I still love this game though.
