The Sims 4 is a shameful franchise compared to The Sims 3 in terms of gameplay, because the world is alive where things happen, totally different from The Sims 4 where everything is so artificial and robotic. This world is amazing!

You can change the roads texture in Sims 3 Create-a-World, although it’s a bit tedious.

Here we have New york for free made by mods, meanwhile EA is selling a $60 Expansion pack of a world with only 9 small lots and loading screens to talk with the renter in your own lot, and the fake animal sanctuary

hi! I was wondering if you have any tips on making newer computers run TS3 better since the town runs so beautifully in your game. I really want to try out the world too but I'm afraid my computer won't be able to handle loading all the objects in buildings so close to each other.

kinokohiou It all depends on your CPU and GPU (4gb ram OR more and not less) and if u have a SSD instead of a harddrive with 250gb-500gb on it

I really really hope this beautiful city gets recreated in Life By You when it comes out. This is my favourite city of all time! But unplayable with my sims 3 game as it kept crashing once the game used up 4gb of memory 😢

It should run decently on most mid-high range computers- intothesimulation has high-detail lots set to more than 1, and because the world is so dense, there was some lag as lots kept loading and unloading as he explored the world!

Hi, I have installed everything, and am unable to see the bridge. What am I missing? There are a bunch of billboards and beach signs on the buildings and lots. Are they supposed to be there?

Everytime I play this world it’s so dark. I added a lighting mod and nothing helped. I checked all the custom content and everything is there. I dont understand why it is so dark.

The Sims 3 and Cities: Skylines are both great because they have great detail, but there are big differences. If you want to focus on managing the little people, play The Sims 3. If you want to focus on managing an entire city, then play Cities:Skylines.

Probably should be pretty bad, I have a RTX 2070 and the games still lags a lot, because of that I had to install some Mods. But you should give a try who knows?

i have a sorta above average mid-tier and i can run it. Except i cant go into create a world, adding new stuff ect... it has so much content its just not playable with it fully populated.

my laptop is mid tier or maybe above average and i was able to run it pretty well with the graphic setting pretty high, there are some lags but you can play it

It's really a matter of scale! If you keep your active sims population and number of lots under 100, and also keep your game clean, Sims 3 worlds can last a very long time.

But that's the thing. It can never work on its own you gotta always optimise it. And one thing I hate abt TS3 is the low population specially if you're in worlds like cities it should be crowded asf, but it's the opposite since the world adds even more memory usage.

@@zodiacsagittarius344 Yeah, I wish it was otherwise, but Sims 3 players have to deal with the hand they've been dealt! Maybe in the future, when there's a open world Sims 5 or a 64-bit Sims 3!

I have a 2014 computer with 4gb RAM and integrated Intel graphics. I'm playing a fan made world, Isle of Sims III, now that has 225+ sims, which are mostly townies and some NPCs. It runs well with only little lag and I have all EPs and SPs loaded. It's optimized yes, but I also have the whole game on SSD. I think that is what makes a big difference.
