New York Rangers came into the 2024 NHL draft with only 4 picks and ended up using all of them. They took 1 defensemen in EJ Emery out of the USNDTP with their 1st round pick 30th overall. With the other 3 picks, they took all forwards on being Raoul Boilard from the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the QMJHL, Nathan Aspinall from the Flint Firebirds in the OHL, and finally from the Swiss league Rico Gredig with their final pick of the draft.

We'll see if they pan out in about 3 to 5 years on a good end. Depends on how they develop within the Rangers system. We lost Kris Knoblauch who coached the kids on the wolfpack to the Oilers who really helped the Oilers turn there season around, that was a massive loss that isn't really talked about. Talking about Kris Knoblauch would be a good off-season topic to make a video about, since he did have a ton of success as the Oilers head coach. 45-22 after taking over as HC for the Oilers.

Good draft considering where they were. Now the harder part. Getting enough physical players in FA and trades to get them over the hump for a cup. Match Fla in aggressive play.

We've got some good forward prospects and are quite deep on the forward side of the prospect pool. Rangers don't have a ton of good defence prospects so adding another was a good idea especially with who was left available at the time during the draft.
