Seems like a Miller clone with less offense and more defense. He will probably end up being a super solid 2nd pair defenseman. Good but not exactly exciting for a first round pick.

This is a terrible pick I'm sorry. Andrew Basha was the clear cut choice here. We have drafted and loaded up on young defenseman. I won't count fox but Miller, Schneider, Jones, Robertson. Othman is our true #1proapect and he is getting called up right now. Our forward core is aging and needs some youth. Our bottom 6 this year has been for the best evaluation decent. Not going to win the cup being decent. This reminds me of Dylan MacIlrath pick. Pretty sure drafting a top 2 all defnsemen in the first round is a huge bust.

Things to consider: the Rangers current top skater prospects are 1 gabe perrault 2 Oth 3 Berard 4 Sykora 5 Laba so no D in the top 5. The top D prospect is probably Fortescue as it does not appear Robertson is an NHLer (currently 23 and did not have a strong season with Hartford). Also, by all accounts, EJ is a very strong skater and so the comparison to Dylan is not fair.

Sounds like Keandre Miller clone. 39th ranked skater picked 30th. Last thing we needed is another D man that doesnt hit or punish Forwards in slot. Horrible pick. Unfortunately Carter Yemanchuk was gone but please take a tough hard hitting D man.
