The rev match feature is cool, but it's way more fun to drive the car without it on tbh.

Would've been a lot better without the horrendous background/foreground music.

i love the music in these videos, very exciting, anyone else finds it hard to heel n toe in the 370z? i used to do Heel and toe easily in mustang, the 370z has an awkward position of the accelerator, and how far back it is makes me feel less confident compared to American panels
@PR1NCETD0T2 жыл бұрын
You have a bigger pedal to press the accelerator in the 370z, you don't have to swing your whole foot to reach it, technically, its made for the heel toe. You probably just got used to the mustang pedals and now you have to adjust to the z's. The only thing i find difficult heel toe-ing in the 370z is the lag in the throttle response.
@CdH9412 жыл бұрын
Heel-and-toe really isn't that difficult as long as the brake and gas pedals are close together. It just takes a few months to get the muscle memory down. Still though, this is absolutely astounding, just the software work involved alone.

i dont get why they tap the gas when double shifting....? someone please explain to me :)
@PR1NCETD0T6 жыл бұрын
On newer/modern manual cars, you don't even need to double shift, but its basically to maintain rpms and balance of the car.
@punk8612 жыл бұрын
I wonder if it will prevent overrevving like going from 81mph (130km/h) to 2nd gear. That would obviously blow the motor because it'd overrev to like 10,000rpm. (Actually happened to someone, and yes he was drunk).
@PR1NCETD0T6 жыл бұрын
With the syncro rev match, i think the gearbox locks up when you try to downshift to the wrong gear.
@al3zmi3 жыл бұрын
@@PR1NCETD0T yup, i have B&M short shifter in my 370z and shifting from 5th to 4th at certain RPM will not allow you to go into previous gear also even if Syncro Rev match is off, it will still lock you
@PR1NCETD0T3 жыл бұрын
@@al3zmi a tune would help i think, because unless I'm nearly stopped, my stock tomei Z doesn't allow me to downshift to first.
@al3zmi3 жыл бұрын
@@PR1NCETD0T well, before and after installation of the short shifter, i always find it a bit heavier to put into 1st gear unless fully stopped, sometimes as i drive the gears do get stiff at certain RPMs, i have aftermarket single-mass flywheel and Z1 clutch

We like the car at P1 but heel and toe is a must know basic if your a good driver,I'd keep it switched off!

So it's basically an automatic with a clutch that you can stall...
@PR1NCETD0T6 жыл бұрын
Yea, pretty much the GTR R-35 with less power, a clutch, and no paddle shifters. You can take off syncro-rev match if you don't want the computer to blip the throttle for you though.

its awesome but its also cheating. I wouldnt feel good driving a manual in this mode always, just when maybe id need more steering precission or faster shifting all round but normally id like to heel-toe

Driving an automobile is cheating. You should be running barefoot to every destination.
