I wouldn’t be able to eat the fish and chips without the tartar sauce and gravy. Would go back and ask for it. I try and go back but sometimes you can’t as you’ve already gotten home or forget to check the bag. With reviewing food, going back is not always an option. That’s too bad they forgot, especially when it’s not cheap. Happy holidays to you guys!! 😎🎄🎅🏻

At that price, It's unacceptable for them to forget the gravy and tarter sauce. Why didn't you guys go back to get them or double check before leaving to here sure they didn't rip you off? I haven't gone out for fish and chips for some time now. I don't care how good a place has them I'm not paying those prices.

Cause sometimes bad things happening just add value to the video lol 😆. Didn't really have time to go back either. Was In a rush that day.

Reviewing food on video is a lot different than a normal setting. Obviously, if this was a normal situation, I would have gone back, but in the middle of recording, you have to roll with the punches. Also, I'm starting to think tarter sauce is just not included with a lot of places. We have done a few of these fish reviews now, and only 1 has come with tarter sauce.

Chafe’s Landing in Petty Harbour is one of my favourites for fish and chips. Also, Leo’s in St. John’s is old school good. Badger Diner has excellent pan fried.

st. john’s and surrounding area has the best fish and chips. leo’s, by the beach, keith’s, chafe’s landing, scampers.

I'm just jealous that you get to do a revew in Dildo, the jokes just write themselves! I do have Balzac (ball-sack) but there's just one dinner and nobody's heard of the town of like 50 people. 😅 also, what is dressing?

Almost $30 for two pieces of fish and fries with dressing? Fuck out of here. That's a rip off. Inflation aside that isn't worth it. I've seen little local diners and such have something similar for $10 less easily. You guys were too nice on this review imo

We have done 5 fish and chips reviews now and all but 1 has been over $25. It seems like this is the new price for fish and chips. Dressing amd gravy seems to be the killer

Just food reviews talks about you guys all the time so I'm here now... The only thing I don't like is you can't give something a five..... I think 4.7 should be the highest... What are you going to do if you go to another place And it's better you have to have some leeway... Like figure skating, there's never a 10 out of ten.

Yes I agree with you. Looking back on our older video's we gave way to many 5 star reviews. We still do give 5 stars every now and agian but they are alot more rare. It's also hard to distinguish ratings for use because we do fast food and local places. So if we give mcdonalds a 4 star review on something then we give a 4 star rating on a local place with home made food its not the same rating 🤣🤣. Logically that doesn't make sense but also you can't really compare fast food and home style food either lol. Basically this long comment is me saying review food isn't that easy 🤣🤣🤣

@@NerdyNewfie another suggestion is you can do.... Out of 10 instead of out of 5. And still use decimal points. Doing it out of five makes it tough between a 3 and a 4 and 4 and a 5.... There's only so many things you can give and you never give anything below a three so.... Ya haha Just my suggestion. Love the channel and I will be watching all the Videos moving forward. 😜

@fragos We have talked about that but everyone and there mother does out of 10 and we like doing it the old fashioned way and being a bit different. When talking about food in a rating way online, it's based on a 5 star rating. it's basically the same, tho a 3.4 is the same as 6.8. Also, there are plenty of videos with 0's, 1's and 2 star rating lol. Glad your enjoying the videos, and thanks for the suggestion!
