Today we got to interview 3X Emmy Award Winner, 6X “Dancing With The Stars” Champion, New York Times Best Selling Author, and our friend, Derek Hough, along with his beautiful wife, Hayley Erbert! After getting married a few months ago, Derek and Hayley are now on tour together for “A Symphony of Dance,” and we’re counting down the days until we get to see the show later this month! It still feels surreal that we get to call this incredible couple friends, I remember meeting Derek for the first time on “Dancing With the Stars” back in 2012 and I was so starstruck. We hope you love this episode as much as we love this couple!

Derek, when you described how you always felt you had to entertain (and maybe even people please and perform in some way), but with Hayley, you could go on a walk and feel at peace- THAT is the heart of life- that is divine. So precious. Hang onto that and NEVER let go- such a beautiful thing and I was touched by that.

Just had this thought. Andrew, you have the perfect voice that is just naturally soothing. It would be Perfect to record children audiobooks for bed. (Along with all the other things you guys do and want to do in the future)

It’s crazy watching this after Hayley’s emergency brain surgery. They talked about doing all these things to be healthy and this still happened to her. Crazy how something like that can happen to anyone in a split second. They also talked about having gone through all these things together already. This will be a huge challenge but I believe they will come out on the other side even stronger. ❤ They definitely didn’t have this in their plans going into the new year but hopefully they can see this occurring is all a part of the bigger picture. Also their relationship is an inspiration and role model to me. I love the way they look at each other and speak about each other. They are so in love. 💗

I just laughed SO HARD at the part when they talked about watching lizzie mcguire on their honeymoon in italy- it was funny and kinda cute that Hayley brought it up to him, but them WATCHING it, imagining that- SOOOO funny. Thank you for that! hahaha
