Gotta love how the inquisitors essentially confirm Vader told them to "go for the hands" if people resisted and Reeva specifically cuts off the woman's right arm, the same that Anakin lost. It really gives you a feeling he was super salty about losing it from Dooku and you'd think cutting off both of Dooku's hands would make him feel better but I guess losing nearly ALL his limbs really pissed him off again to where he thought "screw it just cut off everyone's hands".

Wish they showed more clones tbh. There’s a decent amount of Jedi in the temple each being taken down by 2-4 troopers. Imo, it should really take 5-10 to take out one Jedi knight. Probably 20+ to take on one Jedi master.

I mean I don't think they bother to put that flashback bit in the "previously" section and have Ben reference him now multiple times if there won't be any scene at all. It would be kinda poor writing. Something absolutely can be "fan service" and meaningful and integral at the same time.

Judging by the furrow in the sand and the angle it's lying at, I think that Whale creature Ben is carving up most likely crashed from the sky rather than burrowed up out of the sand.

I was thinking that the fish that Obi-Wan cut for himself after each shift was actually to make it so he smelled worse when people walk by him. As is common in the real world, when somebody smells really really bad, people tend to look away and try not to call too much attention to that person. Feeding his animal was just a bonus

They missed a golden opportunity in making the bounty hunter that kidnapped Leia Rako Hardeen from Clone Wars. Not only does the actor (Flea from Red Hot Chilli Peppers) look similar to him, but he would have a personal stake in helping to capture Kenobi.

Obi Wan was able to relocate his lightsaber because the kyber crystal in it "calls" to him specifically. Same with all jedi. It is how they find their crystal on ilum.

I'm sure he used the force to sense his lightsaber, more specifically his Crystal. Since the Kyber crystals choose its owner, I'm sure the Jedi have a special connection through the force with their crystals, that's how he was able to find it

Anakin’s descend to the dark side is so much more tragic to me now than it was beforehand. Seeing Luke and Leia as children really put into perspective how they were robbed from a childhood together with their parents.

Obi-Wan shouldn't need anything to tell him where the lightsabers were buried due to the kaiber crystals contained within as the process of building the saber is almost spiritual to the jedi where they connect directly even personally to the Force via the crystal as they build it

Sensing his own lightsaber, or anything for that matter, is probably automatic to him. He can do it without it showing. Using the force to lift things is another matter, though.

@@odinwarlock2436 Vader, the inquisitors, other force users in general. The force allows you to sense things you otherwise could not, think of Rey and Kylo communicating or Vader sensing Ashoka during rebels. These are only able to happen due to these characters actively channeling their force powers unlike Kenobi who has for the most part shut himself off from the force. Had he not been, communicating with Qui-Gon through the living force would not have been difficult nor would he worry about not being able to catch Leia.

The order 66 is intense because the camera is at youngling-level... That's part of why we feel so much danger. Now imagine if Episode 3 had handled the scene in a similar way. Imagine following younglings using cunning and wit until they meet Anakin. Maybe would have had more impact for something we knew for 5 movies that was going to happen.

nahh the way they portrayed it in revenge of the sith was perfect. the younglings coming to anakin for comfort and refuge, showing them flinch when he draws his lightsaber, and the look in his eyes is fantastic.

I believe Mace discovered who was Palpatine, not that Vader was Anakin, ObiWan just found out from Reva, Yoda also found about Palpatine and that Anakin killed everyone, Organas also knew that Anakin turned to the dark side, Owens also. All of them thought that Obi Wan killed him on Mustafar. Some of them probably found out later about Vader, like Obi Wan did. Basically, they all knew that Anakin turned to the dark side and thought Obi Wan killed him, not that he was behind Vaders mask because Vader was created after all those events.

I don’t get why Reva thinks kidnapping Leia will draw Obi-Wan out. Just through past association between Kenobi and the Organas? Why would Bail Organa not want to draw attention to Leia by sending an army, but think that sending ones of the galaxy’s most-wanted instead wouldn’t draw suspicions?

The issue I always have with these is they do not make the villains believable. It would make more since in the inquisitor scene if he said "Their compassion leaves a trail. That same compassion that fooled you into trusting them all those years ago. He is deceiving you just like they did then" Or something like that. Something that shows or gives reason why the antagonist have followers other than power, and something that sheds light on what they want the people to believe.

In the order 66 scene I was hoping that maybe, just MAYBE, there would be a temple guard or 2 in the background cutting down a few clones, but alas, maybe some other day we will get a live action glimpse of them in a flashback.

What really impressed me is the use of the original lightsaber from Episode IV. The Skywalker saber only had the reversed clamp in that movie.

I always thought that when they were saying he was supposed to bring balance to the force, that's exactly what he did, the balance was so heavily sided on the Jedi, so many Jedi in the Galaxy but only a few sith, said 2 always, master and apprentice . So by killing all the Jedi he did balance the force

I like the inquisitors so far. It’s just the Third Sisters entitlement that bothers me. It seems to bother other characters too. My biggest worry is that they will try to make Third Sister standup and even compete with Darth Vader. Sure this is still “Anakin Vader” in a sense. But he would still dispose of Third sister without a thought.

@@christianhelton5838 other shows and games have done a good job of showing Vader's power, and he's supposed to fight Kenobi at some point in this. If he goes against an inquisitor it will be heavily one-sided.

One thing that I noticed that nobody seems to mention is that Leia's little droid looks very similar to the alien robots from the 1987 classic film *Batteries Not Included. Similar physical structure with little "landing gear" legs.

Idk, love and emotion drives much of the connection with the force. Leia was able to sense Luke in danger, as was Luke able to sense his friends. Obi-Wan was forced to save little Leia from falling and in doing so he reconnected with the force, like Cal Kestis did in the beginning of Fallen Order. Only after this reconnection happens, and he thinks of anakin and speaks his name, does the connection between the two of them work again. It’s like Obi-Wan turned on his radio after years of silence, and he sent a small signal to anakins.

I absolutely love the Inquisitors. They're intimidating every time they're on screen, and in that bar scene, the Grand Inquisitor showed just as much brain power as Darth Vader (and they work for him coincidentally), it really takes me back to the days when the Star Wars villains weren't just good at fighting, but smart as well. And I gotta love those spinning lightsabers OMG
