Great advice and tips! Some of the best video channels on youtube. I honestly wouldn't regret or call it mistakes what you did in your 7 years though. I think in fact it's important to do lots of different things to actually be able to choose your path. It takes time to find whatever you like most and want to specialize in. It also takes actual work examples and jobs to build a decent portfolio. I'm at a point where I still do jobs all over the place but I don't feel like I know yet what I want to specialize in exactly. Most jobs are fun and valuable experiences, great for getting to know new potential clients. Gradually increasing my rate too, so I'm slowly getting there :)

Love this, that's been my plan. Right now working full time and building a content creation and strategy company. Just me right now and working on getting retainer clients so that I can quit my main job and move over. This is exactly what I had in mind in regards to leveling up my client base but then employing more people to run the clients I had before.

I've done that mind shift and have been marketing a niche. The problem now is I know I'm not reaching my target market - i.e., the people who can and are willing to pay more for a high-end product. How to you reach the high-income people? Give me a good answer and I'll buy into your next program for videographers.
