I m from Uttarakhand! Yes u right imam 🙌 ! Har jagah ke alag devi devta hote h ! this tradition has been kept alive for hundreds of years ! Devta ( god) is called by ritual songs u can call it jaggar ! It's is usually done in night .. god comes ! And make sures that he is always there to protect them ( village people) or whoever is present in that pooja Almost every village has diff kul devi/ devta ! But Lord Shiva is the Supreme of them all ! Fun fact - anyone who is having a major life problem if he/she will go there to seek blessings ! The problem goes away 🙌🔥

The culture, tradition of India lies in its Villages from Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh to Kerala TN; from Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat...One who hasn't visited villages hasn't experienced India. The people ,they are so wholesome; Zindagi mein sayad aap ek baar miloge unse par woh aapke dilon me bas jaate hein. Devbhoomi Uttarakhand...Love and Respect from Odisha. Jai Jagannath Jai Hind. Gram devi/devta gaon ke pithadeesh hote hein saare karyon mein unko pehle pooja kiya jaata h. This practice is very common in Odisha and probably across India. Lord Jagannath is considered as "Daru-Brahma"- Daru- made of Wood(Neem) ;Brahma- the Supreme soul. Regarding Bali ; though the practice of animal sacrifice has been banned people who follow Sakta tradition in Eastern Belt continue it by replacing Animal with Pumpkin. In some Sakti Piths ; Fish is served as Bhog./Prasad during Durga Puja /Kali Puja particularly in Eastern Part of India.

Imaan even at my home town when there is a particular havan for Devi we sacrifice KADDU instead of any Bird or animal.😊 This is adapted by many communities to avoid killings of bezubaan animals😊 Uparwala kuch nahi mangta. Vo to baas deta hai😊 I have mentioned this earlier in some of your reaction video 😊 You are right asp sabko samza nahi sakte kyon ki vo samzna nahi chahte 😊

Let me explain this Bali thing to you as a himachali I don't know much about uttarakhand but in Himachal we are khashiye or khas and it is an ancient tribe which is mentioned in Mahabharata and rigveda so we are Vedic people and our ancestors faught in Mahabharata that's why we are Kshatriyas so we are non vegetarians cuz we are warriors but these days my people have rejected animal sacrifice and most of us are vegetarians now

Aha!! Never knew that...as we are the rajputs of manaskhand and kedarkhand( kumaon and garhwal) as mentioned in our scriptures!! So yes..we are the kshatriya descendants of Vedic Kshatriyas. I think it was the garhwal region in the video...but here in kumaon we still give the Bali of a goat..humaare yaha k toh 50% brahman bhi meat and daaru consume karte hai

The colourful flags are called Lung Ta in bhoti language. Lung means air and Ta means horse. The flags are beleived to have energy of mantras which gets carried away with air and and promotes the teaching of busddhism, positivity and peace. There are 5 colours and each represent different element of this world like red represents fire blue represents sky green represents earth white represents water. You'll see these flags mainly in States which are bordered with Tibet like Ladakh, Himachal, Uttarakhan, Sikkim, Arunanchal Pradesh and in Nepal as well because there's a influence or presence of Tibetan Buddhism. In fact HH Dalai Lama first came to Uttrakhand to seek refuge along with his followers and now he resides in Dharamshala in Himachal.

I am from uttarakhand..... we sacrifice real animals including goats and buffaloes etc.... yes, sometimes pumpkin ones are also made but only in specific rituals.... most of the rituals include real animal sacrifice and they are served as prasaad raw*

and to my best of knowledge only pandav festival has that pumpkin ritual in my region too... although a lamb is sacrificed in my region for the weapons of the gods.... (real lamb)

When havan pooja happen in our house or temple there is a mantra chant tha kul devta bhyo namh gram devta bhyo namh so when offer pooja to our gods we also remember n give respect to our kul devta which is for family n gram devta which is for entire village. N lot more rituals in sanatan ❤

I think this was the Garhwal region of uttrakhand...here in the kumaon region we still give the bali of an animal...haha and humaare yaha k brahmins bhi meat and daaru dono consume karte hai!! Kashmir..jammu..himachal.. uttrakhand are the descendants of the vedic brahmins and vedic Kshatriyas!!
