I'm really liking mine. Had it 6 months and I've actually switched back to a full size carry gun quite often as this belt makes it very comfortable to carry.

I'm glad they thought about the reinforcement screws to help the teeth keep that buckle in place because I've had issues with the Kore Essentials gun belt I bought which is a ratchet belt like this one. The first belt I had the reinforcement inside the belt broke in half but they replaced it for me on a warranty replacement. 2nd issue I had is that the clasp with the teeth holding the buckle to the belt comes off at the most inconvenient times and I've had to catch my pants because the teeth don't bite into that belt enough.

I agree with your assessment. The only think that I believe is lacking is the release mechanism. If there's any tension, no matter how slight, it becomes difficult to loosen the buckle.

Mine broke in just over the year mark. It was nice at first but did not wear well then the belt frayed badly on the top leading edge and it was not where I carry my gun which was surprising. I would not recommend this belt.

I’ve never had a problem with the buckles on any ratchet belt, my problems have always been with the belt stretching and warping and cracking and delaminating.

Prepped Im sure these are decent but personally would go with Kore Essential ratcheting belts they are better made (if you watch some comparison vids) and offer ton more options.

The interior snapped in few places from my gear so its all kinked up. It is still usable but the support has diminished noticeably.

At our shop in San Antonio most of the guys wear the kore belts. It's pretty similar to the Nexbelts in how they work but we felt kore provided better support for full size setups. They have a 1-3/4" wide range belt version for example.

prepped if you think nextbelts are good for edc you have to try kore belts. there stiffer and better materials. the nexbelts buckle is ok but the belt didnt support my glock rig so I have a kore now and it's better.

Can anyone tell me, I don't understand what they mean by only use the edc buckle when carrying a firearm. If I'm not carrying, can I not just simply adjust it to the width I need without my carry gun?

I have the same green EDC belt from Nexbelt. Although I have worn it only for 2 days, I am 63 years old, and I can say it is a beautiful belt i.e. the buckle is better then Kore Essentials over all. Kore’s has an easier release latch. Sometimes the Kore latch will get pressed during movement releasing it a little. The releasing, however, occurs very infrequently and really is not an issue at all since were talking one or couple of ratchets thus causing maybe an extra 4 degree in movement of the holster. The Kore is not machined to the quality as that of the Nexbelt. ( I have had screws fall out of the Kore albeit it could be my installation of the screws?) This green Nexbelt has a softer nice texture to it and I hope that it will hold up time telling. The Kore texture is all about business except the ones that have a smooth surface i.e. they tend to scratch. (I am hard on my belts because they carry daily on and off items). The only real negative that I can see during my 2 days and counting love affair is that it is slightly smaller than the 1.5 inch holster belt clip and this appears to be an issue i.e. once my gun holster is locked on it will cant approximately 15 degrees. The reason for the belt to be exactly 1.5 inches is so to keep the gear tight making the entire rig one solid piece. This is why people don’t carry all the time because they don’t know that to carry you need a rig that has no slop in it at all. It's the entire rig i.e. belt and the holster being one. Kore is a little too stiff and Nexbelt is a little too lax. Once on the Kore and the holster are one unit. It may be that there is no perfect belt, but I do know that you do not want any slop. It may not be an issue if you are using a holster with two clips? I use the single metal clips on the holster, Leatherman holster by RAE which has the same single clip. This is my entire humble opinion, and I’m just a life long gun carrier. Kore & Nexbelt are the best EDC bets I have every seen. I love the Nexbelt for its looks and quality of the buckle, but more importantly, it is indeed Made in USA!

Prepped we had to stop carrying the Nexbelts at our gun shop overall too many buckle breakages and complaints. For me it isn't stiff enogh for my 1911. Just calling it like it is.

I have nexbelt and it is good but kore is def best for edc loads and quality that i have exp.

Prepped the Kore essentials brand is what I would recommend over these. It is the best all around in this space. For example in additon to cc 1.5" belts Kore makes a ratcheting battle belt that is 1.75 wide and has molle around the entire belt. Great belt for bros that train.

I like belts like these were they are adjustable. I bought a Carhart thinking it would be great.... nope. Worst belt I've ever seen. The buckle sucks on the belt. After seeing this belt. I might buy it!

Kore started making these first. So I've tried both and the newer Kore is stiffer and better made overall. But these Nexbelts werent bad.

I wore one for a full year till I was coming down a ladder at work and the two loctite screws gave and almost lost my pants. I tore that belt up. It’s better built than most belts I’ve used.

Kore is the better choice. I bought a Bladetech belt made by the nexbelt company with the similar track system. It was obviously cheap, the releasing lever broke 6 months after edc, it scratched easy (both the belt material and the buckle) and wore out after only two years!!!! My kore belt is noticeably better made, more positive, better metal for the buckle, and leaps and bounds built more sturdy.

If you carry full size got to checkout the Kore Essenital 1-3/4 wide range ratcheting belts. Mine holds anything I throw at it.

My gun store here in Phoenix said the discontued these belts too many returns.

Wait, before buying a belt from "Nexbelt" be forewarned! They will not stand behind their product, and when they find a flaw with their design, even if your order was made 3 days before they implement their updated version. They will ship from their old stock and will not take a return or exchange it. The rigid click section of their belts will break, and no they will not replace it. If you ask to purchase a replacement strap they refuse and make you buy a complete belt instead. Really lousy customer support! There are way to many quality gun belt manufacturers out there. I would rather pay more for a belt like an S.O.E. tactical gun belt than buy 2 of their inadequately made belts. Save yourself some money and get a good belt, this is a "gimicky" piece of junk!
