The Weymouth relief road was opened in March 2011 and the Olympics happened in 2012. I remember taking a different way to my voluntary work to drive up and down the old road for the last time and then doing the same a few days later to drive up and down the new road.

Hi kev,really enjoy the video footage,brilliant,I had a thought,when you mention,when you park up in a space,put the ramp down so no one parks behind you,can you not carry a couple of cones,so once you parked up,put a cone out,that will tell other drivers your loading,otherwise you will get someone as you mentioned parked behind you,just a thought.

That cycle cop needed a breath test given his inability to ride in a straight line! Created a situation that wasn't there. Can't remember what force it was but a few months back one of them was bragging on fb about ticketing tractor drivers for holding up traffic! How come a farmer gets a ticket for holding up traffic at 28mph but cyclists are free to hold traffic up at less than 15 and its considered ok?

I got soaked while closing the curtains up just as the rain chucked it down, I was trying to hide under the curtains but an artic came down into the yard and it's tight enough as it is without the 18 tonner stuck out in the middle of the yard🙄 I don't know about you but I hate the camber on the roundabout outside the Quicksilver Mail where you join the A37 to Dorchester, doesn't matter which way I approach it. Cyclists also ride two abreast blocking some of the narrower country lanes up here in and around the Peak District this effectively blocks anything from overtaking them and they refuse to move, seems to be the mature cyclists that are guilty of this type of behaviour the ones that dress completely in black without any regard for their own safety or thoughts of their family’s or loved ones.

it definitely looked like a staged 'sting' exercise for the benefit of Mr Vine who is a divisive individual. The lorry had little room to move within his lane but the cyclist could have moved over just by a meter and avoided the situation. I wouldn't ride that close to white line on a motorcycle, let alone bicycle with a moving lane of traffic next to me.

Totally agree on your comments about cyclist's, You' being a HGV driver, know its impossible to give the gap now required by law, as some roads just don't give the room. I've seen selfish cyclist's riding two abreast in the middle the road holding up traffic & whilst riding adjacent to a cycle track. "explain that one"??? Love the extended video.

To be honest, i think it's something to do with the lycra cycling attire or that their saddle needs some adjustment. Seriously though, who's bright idea was it to hand road priority to those who regularly enjoy putting their own and other's lives at risk just so that they can inhale more exhaust fumes and slow the road network down? On top of that, they don't need to pay road tax or have insurance.... so when they inevitably dig a handle down the side of your car while filtering they just give you the finger anyway. I know, not everyone is the same, but there isn't a bike test you have to pass or a minimum eyesight standard to meet. Those who make the rules only see their own point of view and seemingly never give a second thought to the ramifications to their actions or rules. Because there is no test, people dont read road safety information to get common sense. Hell even most of those in cars dont think about it after passing their test. Also, when new rules are introduced, they really need to send out formal letterss to all drivers, as most people couldn't tell you what has changed since they passed their test, leaving massive gaps in knowledge and new rules etc.

An hour and 50 minutes?! Thats no vlog, thats a documantary 🤣. Have something for the weekend 😊
