Some get only devils. Some get both and that's sometimes worse. Cuz when good and evil start to argue inside your head, it tears you apart and you don't know what to think. The lines blur as they fight for your soul and you do some shit that really rather let go. But those things hang around, and your mind brings them up to throw them in your face. Just at the times you need it the most not to, blam there's another shot to the heart and the worst part is it always comes from yourself. You can't blame anyone else, if you hate you that's on you. Make yourself into someone that you love. Not what others tell you to be. That's the way to happiness it seems

@@dustinrichardson1113 that's part of the war I wage every day inside myself. The hidden battles that nobody sees because they refuse to look. So I hide them deep and smile like it's okay, when everything inside me feels on fire, and everything I love is stripped away and all that's left is a shell. The husk of the man that I wanted to be, just a shadow of my former self. Never knowing what to do what path is the right one to take and the voices just fight over it and why each one is the right one and they all make perfect sense in their arguments so how the hell do you know where to go?!

@UC_ICrFSMPIhfIZ85AvmQ7Ow this person? It's you but it's ok if you got confused, I get it. I just don't get why people just love to let others know that they are going through something. Like if you go through the comment section, it is full of people quoting a line and saying "I felt that" or "like if you feel the same". I don't know if people are trying to feel special by relating to NF or what. Hell I might even be in the wrong for feeling this way but I just don't think it's right. I'm also going through some shit and a lot of what NF is rapping about really speaks to me but I just wouldn't feel right posting comments about it. I don't know, I guess it kind of seams like people are just trying to justify themselves for feeling someway. Sorry for the long comment but these thoughts are really bothering me and I'd like to know what you think of it.

"when we feel someone is leaving, we start to panic." that hit where it hurts, as an overthinker who has struggled in the past.
@wolfgangbr15762 жыл бұрын
I honestly believe that this is an issue so many people in our generation face. But it is still not really talked about while so many people struggle with something like this. My view: Its cuz of increasing rates of separation of parents. Do not get me wrong here: I do not advocate against people separating when it clearly isn't working out. But I believe people of the generation of our parents had children too often with people that clearly didn't fit them, resulting in too many separations that definitely change the psychological condition of their children. It is so interesting to me how often people like Nate who are able to reflect on their issues have separated parents. Cant be a coincidence....
