@SteelerzReignSupremeII Donte Jackson is tiny, injury prone, inconsistent, and has something like a missed tackle percentage of 17. Way too small for an outside guy and doesn't play slot.

This one stung. One of the goats and a future Hall of Famer. Most importantly, a class act and a leader. Mid 30s and playing the most physically demanding position on the field is tough. Pat P is also slim and receivers are increasingly physical. Having played corner, I appreciate the skill in the IQ he has STILL. Would love to see Pat P back.

I was sad to see Pat P get cut but I'm confident he will be resigned. Keeping it real if anyone should have been released it should have been Levi Wallace hands down! He got burnt like mesquite consistently. Even Pro Football Focus had Pat P overall better him. I'm surprised he is even still in the line up.

I’m not a stealer or cardinal or LSU fan, but if Patrick Peterson never plays another down, he’s an obvious Hall of Famer, and one of the best corners of the last 20 years. But I’m sure he’ll end up on a football roster next year if he wants it may have to be in September or October after there’s some injuries, but a corner with his experience has value.

Don’t forget Cory Trice too if you can bring pat back and be vet leader to both of those guys ( DBs in general) and be a good role to plug in wherever we need in the secondary if somebody goes down or something but he would be a good presence to be in the locker room and contribute in a few different ways for those guys
