@JANICE.... you know my story. Had one child not married. Love my son. His dad and I both wanted marriage. Then things shifted and he wasn't ready. (As you said I was taken for granted). So then he wanted us to TAKE A BREAK, but not see other ppl. I said no. Either we on the same page with marriage or it's a BREAK UP. So at the end of year 3 we broke up and during year 4 he did what he had to do to get where he wanted to be. THEN he had to get in line and date me and propose. By the end of year 4 (not waiting on him but dating accordingly) he proposed and going into year 5 we were married 3 months later. Now a family of 4 with 2 dogs and Stay at home wife!!!! But had to stand my ground and reevaluate to get to where we are now. It was HARD! I love that man but I wasn't accepting not being married but serving up wife benefits. Nope!
