I've seen so many comments about this performance. Some call it cringe and terrible. Well, I think Dolly looks awesome for 77, and she's rocking that Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader outfit. And she sung wonderfully, like she always does. Nothing cringy to me at all. We love you Dolly. ❤

OH COME ON!! Not only does she sing, act, and write but she's a huge humanitarian. Starting with her reading program can any of us quote the number of books that have been received by children that would have never had a book much less learned to read. And just think that she took her time to entertain us at a ballgame and I must say that it was one hell of a show. Thank you Dolly for being you ❤️

My friend Tina took her daughter to a Dolly concert in Jacksonville, FL a long time ago. Amanda got to hug Dolly and her aide took down Amanda contact info. Dolly or her PR team sent a letter to Amanda and birthday cards for a few years. When we get together for Thanksgiving that one of the stories that gets bounced around the table even today

Obviously she’s aging, but honestly i thought she was holding it more because that tiny little stage they gave her was hard to maneveur around. I thought she was using it to get around that small space and not ridk falling off. Maybe thats just what i wanted to see. But she rocked that outfit, prove me wrong

This is such a confusing take because we can all love her and her music AND objectively see she had to hold on to the silver wall half the performance and the cheerleaders did an insane amount to pick up the performance due to the lack of energy.

Wow, I love Dolly. What a great choice for a halftime show. Dolly didn't have to do anything but be herself. She could have cared less about the camera, she was singing for her fans, the audience. The fact that she used the cheerleaders to do what they do best was a great idea. Dolly is an icon, a true legend and a beautiful, giving person.

Dolly has been requested more than once to perform the SBHT. She has turned down the opportunity saying it is too much of a production to do it but this effort makes me think she is clearly up to the job. Dolly is not perfect, but she is wonderful.

I had the honor of meeting her in 1978 after a show in Ohio. She was great and just a normal person. Talked for a few minutes and got a hug. I was 17. She is actually very short without heels. And now at 77 and still active that way. Beauty beyond belief. A voice of an angel. This woman is a treasure. You go girl!

My cousins husband worked for Dolly for many years, and he says she is the same in person as you see and is like what you see. No pretense. A very nice wonderful person.

My mom always took care of her in the 80s when she was at Dollywood. Yes she has always been so down to earth. My mom didn't have a baby sitter for us once and Dolly said well let them girls come to the park and stay. We literally spent nearly every day that summer at Dollywood. Such a sweet soul. I went to Sevierville Primary School when she had our playground redone and I can remember her laughing as us kids pushed her on the swing. ❤❤❤❤

She said her Daddy was the smartest person she knew even though he was illiterate. My granddaughter gets one every month. Funny how the 2 amazing thanksgiving performers were 2 77 year old women. But Ahh Dolly!! She been impressive her entire life. She once said It Takes A lot of money to look this cheap and i have absolutely adored her ever since!! Shes perfect in my eyes, always has been, always will be. As Queen being my favorite band and Dolly being probably my Mom’s favorite or second favorite artist, it was kind of nice to see Dolly perform part of “We Are The Champions” and “We Will Rock You”. Of course, nothing will compare to Queen performing those two masterpieces but it was still nice to see Dolly play her rendition of the songs. It was doubly nice because the day after Thanksgiving marked 32 years since Freddie had passed, and he’s also as old as she is.

They only play live (with NO click tracks or sound tricks), & are more than capable of playing live (as is Dolly). But the NFL is worried both about performers going rogue and mechanical issues.
