I'm a cat widow for nearly 9 months now, today is the 1st time I haven't got emotional looking at cat stuff without crying. I still have my emotional days,but most of them are happy now. Years ago, Pilly walked away from our house, paused to look back over his shoulder and it was the last time I saw him. Not sure how old he was because our neighbor stopped taking care of him ( thank goodness. He was an Awesome tuxedo boy). I spent weeks looking for him and our heart was broken. He was huge but sooo gentle and respectful of our bitchy cats. His place in my heart is as fresh today, as the day he decided to be our boy. Love you Pilly.

I often wonder...who actually saved who? Yeah I went to the shelter and adopted my boo boo ... but she saved me from being lonely, she saved me from the evil bath tub,she saved me from going crazy and she saved me from boredom,she just loved me

As mentioned, for 34 years kitties have been loves in my life…….during the past year both my older babies went to The Rainbow Bridge (at different times). This is beyond hard, yet at least now I do imagine new companions; today though I’m not ready ~ yet. Understanding grief is a process, I’m attempting to experience feeling as they come……and some days are better than others. I know I’m a much better person for the love of all my kitties - and do regard one extra-special fella as the love of my life. He was beyond special, and helped me with living, growing, healing, loving, sharing, and faith. And today I understand ……”tis better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all”.

I just love my cat, she is amazing when she curls up in my bed with me, She sometimes sleeps under the covers, and dosen't want to be disturbed, I love watching other cats and all the tricks that they can do.

È vero sono amabili proprio x questo, sono intelligenti anti d'espressione e ti rendono la giornata piena di sorprese inaspettate tra una marachella e momenti affettuosi. Grazie signore del dono che ci hai fatto. Il gatto ha superato ogni tipo di cattiveria da parte dell' uomo ma lui è qui e sono sicura che rimarrà sulla terra anche se gli altri abitanti spariranno.

I never knew how amazing a cat is until I’ve had some. I have Rottweilers, pitbull, and a great Dane, and they love my cats as I do. It’s how you raise them to be social with individuals. My cats come up to everyone.

My girl is a big smuggler. And every morning my boy marks a thank you when I put down his breakfast. He doesn’t do that for lunch and dinner. Both wait outside my bedroom door when I wake up for an enthusiastic good morning and morning forehead kiss. My girl needs her cuddles before she goes to bed or she’ll pound on my bedroom door. I always tell my two I love them. And people who know me ask so how are the kids! And I tell them the latest my two cats get into.

You should think about getting another one, or a pair ... you clearly have a lot of love to give, and you're not 'replacing' your lost cat. He/she will understand that you have so much love in your heart, and that there are so many cats who need it. She will smile in heaven and have a purr when she sees it. Best wishes

I grew up with cats, The one mistake i made that I will forever regret is being rough with them. Putting my hands in their faces playing, continuing behaviors that its obvious they dont like - but I still did it....caused several of our kittens to grow up with behavioral problems such as being mean or biting. Several of these video clips show this.

Indeed. Most cat don't like their face covered, or their paw held too tightly. I only stroke my cat full face if he head butt my arm, he would usually lick my hand and graze his teeth on my hand, just being playful.

I am 65 and have had a total of 23 cats in my life (3 right now, two males and a female). If you show your cat love and affection, it will return it 3 fold. Cats are the best.
