I just wish there was more defense at this level. It just seems the defender are stupid. Like they don’t learn. Also no dumps the puck in or worry about the energy of their players. Like that’s nuts!

It's because it's a terribly designed game. The developers need to scrap everything and ask themselves what makes a good hockey game, because it definitely ain't this.

@@ehhhfinna2441 Its impossible to make virtual hockey to be realistic. Too complex, too many individual decisions on the ice, too much fyzics. I would not call it "terribly designed game". Its still fun, but it is question, if games should copy reality or be just fun.

i love how everybody "plays" this off as legit competition, only 1 scoring scheme. rinse and repeat 10x a game.

Cross creases are done in the NHL all the time too. Don’t understand why people act like cross creases are somehow not a good or talented way to score goals

Who can get the most cross crease passes wins. Not one shot from the point. I saw a few glitch goals walking out from behind the net.

@@odadathomasanderson5364 well there’s a reason why. It’s a competition and shots from the point rarely go in. I use shots from the point and attempt deflections but it’s rare to actually get them to work. They’re trying to win and that’s how the game is unfortunately

I love it when the offensive player backs down the defender in the crease and then turns and "dunks" it in the net! It's kind of like basketball but it's hockey! So cool!!!

NHL needs to build a league like 2K. Where everyone controls only 1 build and compete 5v5, 2v2, 1v1 in an open meta

It's not about creativity. All goals are equal. If the player on the back post is not released to him, he is at a loss. Guys don't play it like a game, they play it like a program

How about we talk about the servers this game is now running off of (Amazon servers) and how they don’t work properly, and ea sports won’t do anything about it, they made the switch to cut costs by 70% but now a large portion of people struggle to get good connections!

E-Sports are great & although ppl hate they are just ignorant so who cares but EA having HUT/1v1 be the gametype is so stupid on so many lvls like why are we playing for big $$$ with 10 out of 12 skaters on the ice are cpu controlled... EASHL is humans vs humans the way it HAS TO BE

If you think you have control over that Garbage EA NHL, you a fool. Cuz the one we play at home is a waste of money, time and nerves. The ai decides which game you win. Your skill is irrelevant. I hope someone sues them.
