Its not usually trash like this in Dallas, editors messed up with it badly this time or something. Very unpleasant to listen. Edit: audio and picture quality way better in the official highlight video so this is on Sportsnet or smt. Fix your quality plz!

All of the ESPN broadcasts this post season have been trash. Timing not lining up between camera switches. Arena audio suddenly going out after a loud noise, similar to a limiter kicking in when the settings are all wrong. Disney can't do anything right.

Minus Valeri Nichushkin, the Avs find a way to stave off elimination. Down a goal early, the Avs fight back to eventually win the game on grit and determination. God, I love these guys!

Nichuskin is bad luck/karma vibes for his interactions with a lady victim of human trafficking from his own country. People like this should not be in the NHL if the NHL is to retain any Decency, Integrity and Decorum. He is a bad example for young hockey players and he taints the NHL and the sport of hockey. @@rhyta5042

@@user-rs8gz9us1g Nichuskin isn't as major loss as the score sheets say. Must of the goals he scores are garbage goals and if teams learn how to defned him they can keep him from scoring em.. Hertl is almost the exact type of player and Dallas stopped him.... What a story it will be if Avs can somehow win the cup this year and stick it to the selfish druggie Nichushkin

This is what we expect from the avs every minute they’re on the ice. A fight for the puck and hard work. The skill is a given. Some of the best in the world. But they still have to work and skate as near their top potencial as possible.

Why was the high stick on Rantanen not a double minor when he was bleeding? I’ve never seen them give anything less than a double minor for a high stick that leads to bleeding

hey at least you even got 2 mins, they called NOTHING on McDavids High stick on Hughes then told him to leave the ice cause he was bleeding from it....

He was bleeding from the nose, the cut would have to be from a stick on his face. If you had a double minor every time a bloody nose happened you'd have a lot of double minor and that's just not how it works.

CORRECT. Instant double minor. Only thing I can think of is that he may have had a pre-existing wound that might have opened up, but I may be reaching a bit, here.

Я прочитала много хвалебных од Макару.....несомненно команда справилась с горем и решительно пошла вперед и без Ничушкина.....но в этом матче отлично сыграл и вратарь Георгиев....без его великолепной игры Колорадо бы не одолел Даллас.....вообщем я рада за Колорадо и желаю им победы в серии, а забрать КС желаю свой любимой Флориде!!!

They also just suck at announcing. They show pretty much no replays from key moments, and the camera work and audio is bad. So sad it’s the only way to watch.

If THIS Colorado shows up for the rest of the playoffs, we’ll be seeing them lift the cup. McKinnon and Makar are unreal and could give McDavid and Draisaitl a run for there money as the best duo in the league. I can’t discredit Dallas as a team though. Their ability to stay in games they should be getting blown out in is something to admire. And that feed from Robertson to Heiskanen was ridiculous.

Dallas did nothing wrong. Both goaltenders were outstanding. Colorado seemed to really care about this game, and it showed...they went the extra mile, took a few chances and it paid off for them. Speaking honestly, things may not go so well for them in game 6. Dallas will be ready. We shall see.

Alternate Captains, not assistant. The team Captain is Gabriel Landeskog, who has unfortunately been out with an injury for all of 22-23 and 23-24. Not wanting to officially strip him of the C, they choose instead to skate three A until he returns. edit: Tiggers don't like typos.

Yes, in the 3rd he was terrible. I'd bet my house it's not unusual for teams down 3-1 to take game 5. One game from elimination and they're as fired up as it gets while the team up by to games is a little too comfortable and complacent. Even Boston managed to take game 5 vs FL staving off their inevitable elimination coming tomorrow night. Who wants it more - that's who usually wins.
