@@dereks1848 Probably, whoever emerges from the east will be significantly more rested when the finals come around. The top end teams in the east are very good, but the bottom half of the eastern playoff bracket was not exactly impressive. Much tighter competition in the West, not as much of a skill gap between seeds. I'm hoping for Nucks v Rangers finals, would like to see Quick win his 4th Cup

@@ElectrumSZN i dont believe their defense is that bad- goaltending was weaker and powerplay was better. its just their not deep. and dallas is. you have maybe 5 reliable scorers- a line and a bit basically and the other lines are just kinda there sometimes. they need the last two o lines to be better- and the last d pair to be better.

I've been a Stars fan since 1968 when the were the Minnesota North Stars, so you can imagine how pissed I was when they took that goal away and how elated I was when they got the second overtime winner.

I agree it should have been a goal but once the ref on the ice calls it off it is very hard to overturn. Still, it probably should have been overturned as there was very little contact and he was pushed in. But the key is the on ice call.

I'm curious to know if that Game 6 loss for the Avalanche is more devastating than the Hurricanes yesterday. The buildings in Raleigh and Denver were left quieter than a library.

The reason is betting. It wasn't just the refs but the review said the same thing. It's ALL rigged. Every game, every series and the cup winner, based a number of reasons. This game, specifically, was to get a bigger kickback from certain betting sites. BET365 is a big one and I'll bet anything that too many had Dallas winning in OT, not 2OT, which is why it had to be called back. The betting sites win and, therefore, give a bigger kickback to the Commissioner.

@@Matanumi In playoffs, regular season results doesn’t matter. In the first round I thought Cassidy has outmatched him in the first two games and then the Stars still won. Against the Avalanche, I thought that they would overwhelm the Stars but they didn’t.

Why? Do you think it is EASY to be an NHL HC? This Stars team might just go all the way, and if not that doesn't take anything away from his success as a NHL head coach. Not to mention, the Stars players all rave about him. Two WC finals in 2 years is nothing to sneeze at.

Happy for the Stars. Puck don’t lie. Atrocious call in this game and throughout the playoffs. The league really needs to figure it out quick with goalie interference but we all know that’s wishful thinking. The best league in the world can’t have these calls AFTER going to a review. Hockey gods intervened and rightfully so.

The game finished here in Scotland, Dundee UK at around 7.30!!! It's one of the longest games I've watched Dallas play in years!! That decision to rule out the goal by the refs has to be one of the worst decisions I've seen on the ice in many years!! I only ever felt one team would Win in OT and that proved to be correct, Dallas was just too strong, and how poetic for Matt Duchene to score the winner!! Let's Go Stars!! GG Colorado for a VERY hard-fought series! No hard feelings at all against them, my only frustration is with the level of refereeing!! I'm sure the refs here in Scotland would do a better job!
