I absolutely love you Steve, you bring joy at least twice a week, but what the actual F do the Kraken need to do to even get an honorable mention? NHL record 7-game sweep of a road trip. NHL record fastest 5 goals in history by a road team. First team to beat those unbeatable Bruins on their home ice this year. The list goes on. I'm not asking for a prominent feature, just maybe a quick mention at the end, "Oh, by the way, the Seattle Kraken acted like a whole-team hat-pick last week!"

Zegras' reaction was the real highlight. I love this guy. In a league full of stone-faced people taking the sport too serious, his goofiness is a breath of fresh air.

Yeah and breaking Boston's home point streak, with their first SO against as well. There still seems to be some anti-Kraken bias in the national media. A little classic East Coast bias you see in all sports (late west coast games), a little bit of forgetting the newest team especially after a forgetful first year, and they don't tend to win with a lot of flashy plays (just solid defense and deep scoring).

I was expecting to see a "this isn't from the NHL" exception for Nela Lopusanova, the Slovakian *fourteen* year-old who was voted MVP at the IIHF U18 Women's World Championship. She led the tournament in scoring, and was in on 12 of Slovakia's 14 goals (9G, 3A, 12P). She scored the first Michigan in a Women's IIHF tournament, scored between her legs on a breakaway, and scored another by batting the puck out of the air. Perhaps you can't use the IIHF clips, but she MORE than deserved a mention.

Amazing thing about MSG celebrating Miller's goal was that it sounded like a playoff game, even though it was a regular season game. On a Thursday. In January. Against a non-conference opponent.

I saw that deSmith save live, and there HAD been a different play earlier in the game I'd thought "that's making hat picks" but the MOMENT this happened, that play COMPLETELY fled my memory XD I can't remember what it was at all anymore XD This one trumped it SO hard XD and Zegras's reaction XD ain't even mad, that was so amazing XD

I've been to exactly one game at MSG and that one only because one of the vendors I dealt with at a previous job snagged his company's season tickets for a Sabres game there and gave them to me and my buddy that I worked with because he knew we were Sabres fans. Last game at MSG of the 03-04 season and it also turned out to be Mark Messier's last game as he wanted to retire at MSG and was not playing in the Rangers last game that season in Washington. Epic night...and the Sabres won!

When the Flyers lead the league in shorthanded goals, yet Boston gets into the video by just stickhandling around them and not even scoring on the play... Sorry, I think these guys have written off the Flyers as a lolcow and aren't going to give them even a passing glance except when Tortorella gives them something to clickbait.

Steve still salty about the Kraken dispensing his Leafs I see. 😂 It seems pretty egregious that you couldn't find a single hat pick from Seattle's NHL record 7 game road trip sweep, which included back-to-back shutouts from Jones (one of which broke Boston's home point streak) and McCann's first hat trick, among other nice goals and saves that could have been the jumping off point for talking about it.
