It's crazy how different the Jets look from the start of a season to the end of one. This season has been especially wild as it looked like they had a handle on things, finally.

Vegas is kinda like their city. Just a huge gamble on which version you'll be playing. Either you're playing a team that starts strong then gets gassed after the first or the start slow and then turn it to 11 in the second/third period. Thank you THG for putting the Avs at #2 this week

I'm not sure I agree with your assessment about the Oilers may be burning out. I think they kind of looked like that near the end of their 16 game win streak. But then they had like a 10 day break and got to hit the reset button. Compared to last year, I think they've looked kinda average since that win streak. Pickard's gotten 12 of the last 40 starts, McDavid didn't even start trying until halfway thru November, Draisaitl has been looking kind of casual, nuge regressed from last year. The only guy who is really swinging above his weight class on paper right now, would be Hyman. And even Hyman is still putting up about the same point pace as last season - it's just his goal-scoring that is way up. Bouch is quietly having a career year I suppose. But otherwise, this is just the Oilers that you kind of expect on paper. They do have a very busy April mind you. 3 back-to-backs, and 10 games in 18 days. Luckily 2 of the back-to-backs include Arizona. But that's my only real concern, is that their April load is pretty intense. But so far they have good health, so knock on wood that persists.
