Ok I understand this a joke, but would it not be a goal if it was on the right net? It was a deflection off the foot, which is allowed. Like ya it’s a distinct kicking motion but there was no motion towards the net whatsoever. Seems like it’d be a clean goal anyway

I once was at a basketball tournament in highschool and the team that played before us had a horn malfunction. It went off half way through the 3 and stayed on for 30 MINUTES!!!! THEY HAD TO CUT THE POWER TO THE BUILDING TO GET IT TO STOP!!! NOW THAT'S A DANG IT!!!!

Becoming? I can distinctly remember Tomas Holmstrom drawing that penalty without ever touching the goalie, on more than one occasion. And he retired in 2012.

One you missed: Yamamotos goal against the Flames in the second period of the oilers 3-2 win. Would’ve been a save of the year because Markstrom was right there but Backlund tips it under his glove and the oilers tied it.

I had to ref a game in beer league where the "horn" kept going off every minute and a half. The scorekeeper didn't know how to fix it. Basically whoever played on the ice before used that buzzer to indicate to the players to go for a change during play. Probably kids practicing or our 40+ drop in group- both do that for different reasons. Either way they didn't take it off the preset in sk panel. Basically I had to shout when the legit horn for the end of the period was as they kept ignoring (tried to) the earlier ones.

1:44 One time I was playing a game (I'm a goalie this will be important later). And right before puck drop the fire alarm went off. There was no fire or anything it just went off randomly. I was next to it and I couldn't move away from it. I had to deal with a loud SCREEEECH for a solid 5 minutes in my ear but damn that was the longest 5 min of my life.

Honestly I'd buy a shirt that says "goalies tend the goal" and have my parents wear it, im a goalie and I could just imagine leaving the net to get scored on, and then seeing my parents flashing their "tend the goal" shirts at me

that horn thing happened during one of my high school hockey, we got scored on twice during it since the refs only told us after the first one since the other team knew it was going to go off since its been doing that all season
