Not just Justice, Azazel too, obviously. Justice was a fairly seasoned demon to begin with but for Azazel’s horns to turn white too is kind of astounding lol

@@thecanadiandane7262 Actually in extra material and concept art, it is explain that Azazel/Loremaster dyes her horns to look older than she actually is (Most likelh because no one in Heck expects black horned demon to be in charge)

It's possible that Justice was just nearing her horns turning black during the previous chapters, and they just turned white in between. I mean, she used to have Judgement's job, and Judgement seems pretty good/familiar with her job, so it seems that she took the job from Justice a long time ago, so it's not impossible that she was already old enough and the chapters ended right before they started turning. There's also the fact that Lucifer refers to Helltaker in the present tense, though it's possible that he's in hell so it makes no difference to her.

There's also the fact that something was up with Justice. It couldn't have just been age that did this to her. Two possibilities: 1) After Helltaker passed, she continued cooking in his memory 2) Loremaster brainwashed almost all the harem, with likely Justice and Lucifer being too hard to affect due to their age.

@@arnehurnik My theory is that time passes differently/weirdly in the Abyss. So even if thousands of years passed, he may not have even aged all that much considering how the Abyss is so weird. So, if and or when he gets out, he’ll have to save the girls from Loremaster and maybe work together with Subject 67. Although it’s just a theory since Van Ripper says he’s running out of ideas and may not have a big plan for all of this

I feel like Subject 67 is Taker. With how Lucy talks to him, and his general physique, I can definitely see it being a post abyss/timeskip Taker

This takes place in the future. It does say that demons with white horns are much older than demons with black horns. And justice in the first game I believe had black horns and in this one she has white. So a couple of hundreads maybe even a thousand years have passed, making it possible that the Helltaker died of old age and got reincarnated when Loremaster used a bit of his body parts on a new demon subject she was testing

Nah she was just Azazel. Lucifer caused her to fall, cuz, well, why not? She is a demon, she would go out if her way to convert another angel. So she tricked her, and now Azazel surpassed her and took over her spot, leaving her just as a maid.

If u see Justice's horns, they are white now since she's gotten older. In the first game, her horns were black meaning she was a younger demon!

same, helltaker is gone or in another form for some reason and everyones changed ... it's a bit like seeing your parents getting old and slow when you remember them being those grant unshaken colosus, it kind of hurts, the passage of time

Yeah i found it weird that people find this as sad. Like brainwash demon and dystopia and such, which is not true. Lucy and Justice definitely retain their characters, they are still the same characters, but now they works under a new management because their queen encouraged a nice little angel to actually fall and become a demon.

I don't know if you can call a character that, in her own words, committed several warcrimes and seems to have lost her mind "a little sadistic".

No, the Examtaker/Subject 67 is an artificial demon/human hybrid created by the Loremaster. Though, she might have used Helltaker's DNA to make him, that's why he looks and reacts like Helltaker. The actual Helltaker may be old, dead, or just stopped aging and stayed in the abyss with Beelzebub

Sometimes...you have to get out of your comfort zone tho...but don't worry,happy ending will always be waiting for you at the end. Just like the way our main character before, Helltaker that keep going after his harem in hell regardless any suffering he had.

Just skip it, even 67 said "i keep skipping the puzzle on the menu", phase 3 and phase 5 are bs, need to look up a walkthrough, phase 6 are plausible, and final phase are just judgement on steroids.

@@biowbe4522 I beat stage 5 mostly legit (I looked up a hint to learn "break left generator first") and learned that you get an achievement at the START of stage 6. That was an obvious sign from the dev himself, that this level is so bullshit that skipping is allowed. I beat the boss legit, but not on launch day. Phase 3-2 is just so absurd and overblown that you can't actually see what's going on. Everything after that was mostly easy
