Roll 20 seems to be making some significant improvements that are making it even better. Can't wait for Jumpgate to start rolling out. Finally, someone paying attention to technical debt and updating their core engine.

You can also archive maps from the three-dot menu on the map in the folder view (options are Duplicate, Archive, Delete). Save a couple of clicks.

how would combat turn orders carry over from map to map if? Does each map have its own turn order?

How to you change the order of maps? I want to rearrange the order but whenever I click on a map, no matter where I drag it to, it always wants to create a new folder

Try dragging the map between two other maps - a vertical line should appear, and when you drop the map, it'll be between those two.

How will teleported tokens be handled?

I haven't done extensive testing, but from what I've seen so far, teleported tokens and the Map Change API seem to work as they always did. Happy gaming!

@@APL314159265The new page structure does not affect the API at all. The folders and pages UI is just visual for the DM(s). The way pages are grabbed in the API is still done via getObj('page', '') or findObjs({type: 'page', name: ''}). I'm really glad they didn't mess with the API at all for this or it'd be a doozy. To be fair to the devs who designed this - there's literally no reason to have changed the API because it really matters not what folder the page is in. Though I could see wanting to be able to have that info on the Page Object (it's not currently) so that a script could have access to that as well. For example: My own teleport script outputs a chat table to the player to tell them what maps they can teleport to and it's broken out by location (Neverwinter, Phandalin, etc). Currently, I use rollable tables to store what maps are in what region and then show the player maps by region by using the tables. If I could, instead, use the folder, then I wouldn't need the tables. Don't think it'd be complicated, at all, to store what folder a page is in. Hopefully they add it.

No, but you may need to enable the feature - it's under Settings, Personalization & Display and then turn Beta Features on. Good luck and happy gaming!
