I actually didn't know this. That's really clever of Listerine to do. I would have loved for them to do something more commonly understood (I'm pretty sure not a chunk of people even within the gay community get the allurance), but I'm still pretty proud they went in a little more than the others.

Absolut ads have always been iconic. They went across culture and time with their old bottle campaign. I saved one of their Pride ads because it's major. Yes, it's just the Absolut bottle with a Pride flag, but it's an internationally touted vodka company and they blatantly aligned themselves with us. Something that would have never been done in the day. 😊❤

I hear you on that, but I think that some might say that many have “acknowledged” (wrongly, of course, but still) for a long time that the “correct“ way to be in a relationship is man and woman, one of each type, and ultimately there’s nothing actually particularly wrong with using the same shape piece of bread for both sides of a burger, so I can see how it’s showing support for “whatever works for those involved is the right way to do it”
