My review of the Nicks Builder Pro after one year of wearing them. They are an investment but worth every penny! Thanks for watching!

Man- after all that, Im not sure I would go back to nicks for a new pair. I have a pair of Franks patriot boots ($350). Not the same as a $600 dollar builder pro but, I like Franks boots & I dont think they have the disorganization that nicks does. Give Franks a try.

Yes. Franks and JK are on my list to try.

Franks boots all the way.

Franks boots! They are the best in my opinion. I have boots from all the pnw makers. Franks and Whites are my hands down favorite.

Did you know that Franks brother is Nick that started Nicks Boots in 1964 and Frank worked with his brother unit Nick sold out to some one else

Honey vibram is a great option! I have it on my builder pro's. Nearly as comfortable as the wedgeworker 2021 sole

If you like the softer honey Vibram, try a boot with a wedge sole. Frank's (and now I believe Nicks does it too) makes a boot on the 55 last with a wedge. I walk on concrete all day and I still wanted the arch support. Mine are from Frank's and they're great. Next pair I get will be from Frank's. Nothing against Nicks at all as I have a pair from them, too. Nice boots!

I have a couple pair of mock toes from Whites with the wedge sole. They are comfortable but lack the arch. I also like the look of the Vibrams and like their added traction. Thanks for watching!

Wear on the outside of the heel is the sign of a normal gait, so you walk normally.

Thanks for the video!! I live in Canada and the extra cost have stopped me from trying those boots. Sadly enough ordering grom South Africa was a better value so i ordered some Jim Green AR8's. Im not disappointed i custom ordered them as steal toes and absolutely love them so far. To new to say durability but holding up great so far

Yes. I hear a lot of good about Jim Green. They look like they would be comfortable. They are another brand I would like to try along with Grant Stone. Thanks for watching!

Good and detailed video. After shipping back to Nicks, Im still having trouble getting fit right. Are you selling the Brown Builoder Pros? Are they 10.5 E?
@jdman71706 ай бұрын
Thank you and sorry to hear you can’t get a good fit. I was worried as well when I first got the brown ones as I was practically swimming in them. But everything fell into place like they said and they fit perfectly now. Just have to go through the break-in process. I am keeping the brown ones. I like to wear them when we go out for dinner. Wear them on the bikes as well. Thanks for watching!

leather boots don't over condition the boots this will break down the leather fibers fast and they will not last as long and you will need a rebuild sooner and Did you know that Franks brother is Nick that started Nicks Boots in 1964 and Frank worked with his brother unit Nick sold out to some one else . I picked up Brown boots and they didn't pass qC or what ever I need 9.5 E and what I got was 9.5 D and looks like some one was training on the stitcher they are narrow boots and after 6 months break in they conformed to my foot

I put Beeswax on mine once a year. I am in a lot of rock salt during the winter. I figure the salt will eat the boots away faster than the wax. Yes, I did know there was some kind of connection with Franks. Glad to hear the boots worked out for you. Thanks for watching!

any chance you could do a video on how you go about waxing your boots id like to do that

I need to do the black ones sometime soon. When I do I’ll record it. I’m no expert but it seems to work for me keeping the road salt out.

Mine are in the mail 🤣, I have whites, nicks, and wesco. Whites are my favorite by far, except for the bootlip roll they do. I'm gonna get a frank patriot later to complete the collection. -forest firefighter

2 months for a breakin is ridicolous and their lasts are trash. they can do better.
