Great review! I miss my tanker boots. I was a tanker for 22 years in the Army and loved my tanker boots. Unfortunately, as I've gotten older, my feet have expanded and my Dehner tanker boots are no longer comfortable enough to wear on my motorcycle. I just discovered Nick's tanker boots and am looking forward to adding them to my footwear arsenal. Thanks again for the great review.

Hey man, thanks for doing this review; like you said, there aren't a lot of reviews for the tanker strap boots. I really hope you make that other video you mentioned. I'm currently working on making my own pair of tanker boots, so I want to learn as much as I can about them.

Thanks for the insightful review. It would have been great to have captured some footage of you wearing the boots though, was hoping I could see it in action

Yea. I wanted to include more than me just talking about them but I was in too much of a hurry when I made this video. I plan on making another, much better, one. Probably around July for a one year review. I'll post a link here once it's up.

Are those the 8" inch or the 10". I was thinking about getting the 10-inch tanker Pros but I'm a truck driver and spend a lot of time driving and I was afraid 10 inch might be too much boot.

They are 10 inches. I spend a lot of time driving dump trucks and equipment and I've never felt like it was too much boot. But I also typically like my stuff kinda chunky lol

Any update on these? How are they treating you these days? This is still the only actual review for the tanker as a work boot lol

Almost two years old, and they're still treating me great. In fact, I couldn't help myself and ordered another pair. Should be seeing them in the next couple weeks. I'll do my best to get another review out sometime soon.

Ive heard that tanker style boots don't make good hiking boots because of lack of ankle support. Is that actually true or is that overblown.

I haven't had any issues with the ankle support. I haven't done any hiking in them but I wear them while running a chainsaw out in the woods which I doubt is much different.
