Nick, one thing that always seemed off to me is how you use your index finger to flick open knives with a blade aperture. I have a feeling that you'd be able to get much more leverage and a more stable grip if you used your middle finger. From a review perspective it could also be a somewhat significant factor, since I believe the middle finger is how most people do it.

Opinels have narrow handle but they are thick and comfortable. Also they are integral

Can someone please make a video showing Nick how to flick? Lol. This is a cool knife, creative, well made, technical mastery with the integral. If I had $400 for a knife that I wouldn't carry, I 100% would buy this.

I love that design but as soon as I see HEA I know not to bother checking the price, not for those living on a budget but I'm sure well worth whatever the price is and that design, Oh Mama! That design really talks to me and in spite of knowing better I am on my way to check it out, help me! I love it, but not enough to spend the big bucks. Pretty sure a budget 150i$h version of this would sell like hotcakes!!

For this price I far prefer a design that stands way out. Having just watched the spyderco paysan review theres just nothing interesting about the knife other than the integral construction. This knife isnt my cup of tea exactly but I appreciate that it strives to stand out.

So wish I had the money for this right now. I really, really wish it wasn't such a limited run piece. :(

Though it looks funky, it's actually a better user than the paysan if you don't mind sharpening the crazy blade. Mostly looking at ergos, weight, but particulalry the blade; the blade on the paysan is a prybar.
