Today, we're going to take a quick look at something silly, insane, and delightful: the HEADesigns Flame Pocketknife.

So, I record this review. A few hours later I meet with @metaleffort (another KZfaqr). He proceeds to effortlessly finger flick the knife for 10 minutes. Flame: 1. Little Nick hands: 0.

So my mom was wrong, my middle finger can do the world some good.
@tacticalcenter86585 жыл бұрын
You just have to put your finger lower down the blade (at least mid way) to flick it out.

I dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the account password. I would love any help you can offer me.

There are Batman knives. Peter from Cedric Outdoors reviewed them. And Batman will not use those.

A knife to keep in mind around Christmas time when you're shopping for the James Bond evil mastermind's lead henchwoman who has everything.
@HikikomoriZone5 жыл бұрын
Nick, one thing that always seemed off to me is how you use your index finger to flick open knives with a blade aperture. I have a feeling that you'd be able to get much more leverage and a more stable grip if you used your middle finger. From a review perspective it could also be a somewhat significant factor, since I believe the middle finger is how most people do it.

400 bucks for a lifetime of conversation starter ain’t too bad. As long as ya live in a state where it’s legal. I like it.

Seems to be the going rate for an integral anyway. Hard and expensive to do right.

Can someone please make a video showing Nick how to flick? Lol. This is a cool knife, creative, well made, technical mastery with the integral. If I had $400 for a knife that I wouldn't carry, I 100% would buy this.

I love that design but as soon as I see HEA I know not to bother checking the price, not for those living on a budget but I'm sure well worth whatever the price is and that design, Oh Mama! That design really talks to me and in spite of knowing better I am on my way to check it out, help me! Just watched the Paysan knife review and by comparison this would be a bargain and looks like a $400 knife from the get go. Nice one Nick, well reviewed from every angle, get it? Thank You

I love it, but not enough to spend the big bucks. Pretty sure a budget 150i$h version of this would sell like hotcakes!!

@M240Bravo5 жыл бұрын
For this price I far prefer a design that stands way out. Having just watched the spyderco paysan review theres just nothing interesting about the knife other than the integral construction. This knife isnt my cup of tea exactly but I appreciate that it strives to stand out.

Though it looks funky, it's actually a better user than the paysan if you don't mind sharpening the crazy blade. Mostly looking at ergos, weight, but particulalry the blade; the blade on the paysan is a prybar.

HEADesigns' page says knives "go live" at 7pm tomorrow with no pre-orderes, but they're all already sold out. Am I missing something?

He hasn't sold any yet, to my knowledge. He's probably just not able to have an 'item' in his store that isn't live yet.
