A native Chinese taking notes from 2 foreigners about the best Zhajiangmian place in BJ 🤣 Epic! (I could not find any good Zhajiangmian place when I visited BJ last time to the point where I had to tell myself that it is probably a homemade dish so the best are in people's homes!)

Such a romantic farewell! Very curious about which is Jack's favourite, Jianbing or Zhajiangmian? Although Jack talked a lot to express how much he loves Zhajiangmian when eating, however, when eating Jianbing, he didn't stop to talk but just kept nodding.

Thanks a lot! His favourite is the zhajiangmian, he doesn't normally have a jianbing as he doesn't eat eggs so he asked for this one without the eggs so it was a bit of a novelty for him haha

The Hutongs so many alleyways and you say you never take the same route twice, I'd think it would be easy to get lost, did you ever get lost, and is Peking Duck the same as Beijing Duck

Yeah we are always finding new ways, its a bit like a maze sometimes there are dead ends and getting lost is fun but we are always heading in the direction we need so it isn't too bad. Yeah in Beijing it is called Beijing duck instead of Peking.

Beijing hutong can be regarded as a slum in China to some extent, because this place is mostly inhabited by the elderly and young people working in other places, and the owners of the houses rent out the houses. In addition, because these houses are hundreds of years old, the government will not tear them down, which means that residents will not get demolition money or demolition houses

This kind of Hutong is worth tens of millions. This is not a common people's cave. The rich people in China are not qualified to live in this kind of house. All the people who come to Beijing to work are renting high-rise apartments
