I have a 2008 Goldwing 1800. I could not be happier. super efficient absolutely never no problems. just a super bike to ride. very happy with it.

I bought a GL 1000 in 1978 ,14000miles and the crank stapled in half,I hope Honda have cured this problem, cheers Bob 😁

I really like those storage liners. What are your true thoughts on manual vs DCT? I’m used to shifting and I hear that there are issues with the DCT. Nice bike!

Same question here regarding DCT. Honestly I’m worried that I won’t feel like I’m on a bike if I don’t have a clutch lever & shifter & have always enjoyed shifting.

I’m genuinely not sure on this. The buttons all over every part are a bit of a distraction and would take some learning and the luggage parts appear very small compared to other bikes in the class.

Scott Pritchard Bullet proof Honda engine. Buttons and controls are no different than on BMW GTL. Respectfully..Anyone with an intelligence factor just above plant life can understand the controls. Ride one and you will know what you are talking about.

Look how you need to push hard to close the trunk and bags. The new Goldwing is a real let down on some areas and the fit and finish is probably only second to range.

The Honda's backrest is poorly made, sadly. Go with Utopia !!!!! Side begs, useless. The containers are small enough, why add more materials? Handlebar grips, too skinny for big hands. Other then that, incredible machine to own.
