My dad got his micro-graft hair transplants starting in 1994. His doctor was the inventor of the procedure. The moved hairs will grow a little, fall out, and then sprout up again fresh and his hairs are still growing strong.

So much respect for you right now! I'm a lady in my 30s and I'm really open about having had reconstructive surgery and Botox - I recommend my doctor to people all the time because he's not pushy (Nob Hill Medical if you're ever in San Francisco and needing a guy!). There is zero shame in cosmetic procedures. More men getting hair transplants and being open about it! Standing ovation from over here!

I’m surprised Nigel didn’t bitch about how painful the procedure was! Most people who went through it wouldn’t shut up about the pain during the extractions. I can totally see Nigel being a fuckboy with the fade, Invisalign, hair transplant and never ageing Asian genes. He’ll look 45 when he’s 60. 😂 also thanks for putting time into this podcast. Missed you doing rice to meet you but this has been very entertaining. Love Matt too! ❤

Well over 10 years ago I went to see the Lion Ling by myself. I joined my mom at a work congruence in Vegas and coincidently that’s where the play was at that time. I loved every minute of it. My seats were not terrible nor epic. The puppets were beautiful. The singing was amazing. I would go see it again.

Hello brother Nigel! How funny that you mention that we Asian just say as it is when it comes to fashion and beauty stuff. My Asian barber told me point blank..."I see a bald spot and you need to do something about that." We Asian are very direct and honest without the bull. Correct on the place of life, we Asian do not stay still nor can we wait...lol

Uncle Roger! Props for being open about your transplant. I got mine done in Bangkok a few months ago, Hairtran Clinic is amazing if anyone in the ASEAN region is interested in this procedure. For the after-surgery meal they gave me Thai-style chicken fried rice with a fried egg, I think you would have approved 👍

I'm a 10 year nail technician veteran and my longest job was at an Asian salon and when Nigel says they tell the truth - he's not lying lol. I appreciated the honest feedback because I had back surgery and was down for about 6 months and I had gained some weight. Mylee, my boss let my fat ass know lmao. She even does my hair extensions for me because my other stylist did it "wrong" and my hair looks so much better haha. I really do appreciate the honesty. It sucks when you have "yes men" around you all the time. As for the mermaid thing... One of my FAVORITE KDramas is "Legend of the Blue Sea"... Mermaids 🧜‍♀️ can be any color, race etc. I mean look at the "Harry Potter" version of the mermaids from the Tri-Wizard thing. I think Halle Bailey earned her part. She's gorgeous and has an amazing voice. I can't stand people sometimes lol. Edit: I have high hopes for the live action Little Mermaid lol. But I'm a girl. Lol. We have a differing opinion.

As one ages ,as you know, you will continue to lose your hair while the transplanted hair does not fall out. I had clients who had to do scalp reduction. ( yes just like that sounds). I used to work in Los Angeles , in the tv industry doing hair.( Non surgical hair replacement with lace fronts.) I had clients who needed to shave down and cover the transplants, or place a hair piece behind the hairline and cover any surgery scars from scalp reduction. You eventually run out of Donor area AND one naturally continuse to lose their hair creating separation of surgical and non surgical areas. I hope you enjoy your transplants. I spent many years discouraging my YOUNGER clients from doing this and wait until they got older and see what nature will do to the rest of their hair first. I’m not mad about a black Ariel, I think that’s totally fine and I’m really happy for Halle Bailey. Like Nigel said, it’s a fish 😂. BUT I’ve also been thinking, what if they had casted a red head? You know, that bright orange hair with milky complexion and freckles everywhere. Ariel has red hair, after all. Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a true red head in a large production film.

By the way Nigel. The reason why your hair receded is because you live in UK,and the London area water is full of heavy metals and flouride,which collect in your hair and makes your hair fall out prematurely. You did a transplant now, but your hairline will recede again

You can definitely get tonkatsu ramen pretty much anywhere in the US I live in a small town in Indiana and we have 2 ramen shops. They're good enough by my standards and there's a better place in Indianapolis... So I'd imagine you could get some ramen in Detroit or most places in us

👏🏻 If I were a man loosing my hair, I would immediately do a transplantation. I don't think baldy men are attractive. I find that the people who are complaining about such kind of maintenance works are often the one's who would need it the most (but either it's too late for them or they can't afford it) ✌🏻.

So I've never seen the Lion King musical show... but I've seen the short one they have at Disney World and ever THAT one is amazing. It's too bad they couldn't capture that energy for the remake because the animals looked so cute in CGI but I felt like all the voice acting really fell flat... even Mufasa with the same voice actor came across as flat.
