I don't post many night time videos, there's not as much to see, the cameras have poor quality in low light and LED emergency lights seem difficult for the cameras to deal with sometimes. But night time is when Fire/Rescue/EMS are the busiest. When the sun goes down, the call volume goes up and the night time calls are usually serious. Whether you are a career or volunteer firefighter, sleeping in a firehouse only happens on rare occasions.
This was just another busy night with multiple calls. This video features two of them. The first is a Motor Vehicle Collision on the Delaware side of the border. Despite being a serious collision, there were no injuries. The Ambulance clears that call and attempts to return to the firehouse but doesn't get far when another serious call comes in for a traumatic injury. That call was on the Maryland side and also brought a response from a fire engine.
This video is just a small taste of night life in the Fire Service.
