We had 2, 4, and 8-year-old kids when this show was on, so we were asleep . I gradually learned about the show by watching the Leonard Cohen / Sonny Rollins "Who By Fire" masterpiece. Now that my grandchildren are in high school, I expect to work my way through these wonderful videos. I see many are from Japan; my one grandson is studying the language so maybe he can help me post appropriate support.

That's a soprano, there is no straight alto.

Call me an odd duck. I've never liked Miles. Not before he spit on the crowd, not after. I know everyone wants him to be THE major force in (fill in the blank BeeBop, Post BeeBop, Fusion whatever). But art is art. I have never been moved by his.
