Wow, Eric Roberts! I didn't expect to see him in this, as he is not listed in the original cast-credits above (deliberately?). I've always liked him, despite his sometimes snooty-attitudes with the public & his fans. He earned his stardom & is always fun to watch. And yes....he just gets more interesting LOOKING with age! His sister does too. Bless them. :) But I digress.....I like the start of this film. Looks very eerie. Now, back to it.....

The acting, besides the horrific sound and better direction, is the most crucial part of a horror movie. I loved the acting of Juliet and Lilian. Both acted very well. Nice direction and background sound.

Excellent movie, to see these types of movies are very rare. So, all I have to say is appreciate these types of movies because I know that all the people out there know that most paranormal horror movies are just not even scary, and full of bullshit. Excuse my language but it's true 😒 that is why I appreciate movies like this ❤👌

The second I saw Eric Roberts and Alice Cooper in his 1986 black leather jacket, I just knew this was going to be an Oscar worthy, tour-de-force, roller coaster ride of a fabulous movie. I even heard that Julia Robert's biggest regret in her life was not being in this movie.

Yeah great idea you go to a creepy house, alone, you've never been there before, you knock, ring the bell and get no answer so in your mind the best thing to do is open the door and go in, smart, really smart. Not even a mad man would do that in real life as a matter of fact if it's me if I see that house I'm not even going to knock I'd turn that car around and move like a bat outa hell

Well, just finished it. Its got both good & bad aspects to it. It starts off with a real bang, some serious fright-potential with the mysterious evil demon. The older woman's acting was just fine & she was equally believable in Good & Bad 'roles'. But the caretaker's acting was all over the place, and the detective was mostly very bad indeed. Eric Roberts' role looked like it would pan out to something more, like he was in on it.....but his role went nowhere basically. The ending was way too drawn out, the scene where the old woman goes to 'change'....seemed like filler, it went on too long. The acting became farcical at the very end....WHY?? I did like the VERY eerie panning of all those terrifying demonic-like toys & artifacts though! I watched that scene again. I just wonder if a little more 'plot' would have made this stronger? I still enjoyed the filming style though, very creepy-crawly!
