I just put Vance & Hines on my 91 Nighthawk. Had new jet kit installed. Love it!!

I bought my 99 750 nighthawk the same color with 12,000 miles 5 years ago from a honda dealer . It now has 45,000 miles and still love it. I really like the balanced look of the stock pipes one on each side. I go past Deer in the state parks and they rarely even spook when i go by. BUT THAT VANCE AND HINES 4 INTO ONE SOUNDS KILLER ON YOURS. Thought of buying the new NT700V next year. Think i`ll buy the V & H pipe instead and keep it til she hits 60,000........OR MORE !

It's faster than almost any car. 0-60 in under 4 seconds. I've had mine over 125MPH and did 115MPH with a passenger. But that is slow compared to modern sport and super bikes. It's also a LOT more comfortable.

Honda needs to bring this bike back. First bike I ever fell in love with. Just couldn't afford it at the time. Some day!

Great bike! Have the same exact one, and have been looking in to a new set of pipes, it looks like the Vance and Hines are the way to go, they sound great there. I love these bikes, and if i had the extra cash i would buy yours just to have a back up !

Adds a little bite to the smoothe sound or originally comes with. I always think it's good for a bike to have a little bark to it just for visibility on the street.

Man the CB750 is the ultimate machine. I'm not fond of the new CB1100. Ironically the closest bike these days is the Harley Street 750. Go figure.

yes in europe or amerika you can a bike of 80's because you can find parts when you need them . in the rest of the world you have to choose your bike carefuly

Japan took your advice, check out the 2013 CB1100. It has everything I would hope for except for a 6-speed transmission.

Nice Nighthawk! I have a '91 and it's bulletproof! But my tachometer never worked. I'm curious as to what your Nighthawk revs at say at 75-80 mph? And does it redline at full throttle? My top end is about 115, but I'm nervous as to what the revs are at top speed.

Would love a throatier sounding exhaust on my 85 nighthawk but no luck so far. Beautiful bike though, bought with 7k miles 2 yrs ago and almost up 15 now with no issues.

is this exhaust different from the NH vance and hines "street megaphone" or are they the same?

@qrs1973 I just got a '93. I'm seeing right around 5000 RPM at freeway speeds (~75 MPH). Mine has 20k miles and the tach is still working. My buddy has a '92 nighthawk and he sometimes slams the throttle all the way down in neutral and lets it bounce against the rev limiter at 9000 RPM. I don't have the balls to try that with mine yet... :)

@TriggerCFR When I had mine I was getting 60 to 75 miles to the tank when I had the rpms cranked up between 4 to 7k so 30 to 40 give or take a few mpgs
