My guess on the mattresses is they were dumped there by some shady mattress store. They offer free delivery and haul away of your old mattress except they dumped them here instead of disposing of them properly.

Found some information on the building online. It's gone now. The "meat factory" was called the Albert F. Goetze Meat Packing Company. It was located at 8422 Bellona Lane in Baltimore, on the corner of Belair Road and Sinclair Lane. The plant closed way back in the mid-70s and sat abandoned for years. Apparently it got turned into a church at some point, but this clearly didn't last. The building sustained major fires at least three times over the years (in 1977, 2006 and 2017) and was eventually purchased for a mere 55,000 dollars by P&L Commercial Properties LLC of Woodbine and torn down completely around 2021/2022. However, google maps shows that the sign is still standing. Obviously it would have been impossible to salvage this building, but by the time demolition started the building had collapsed much more than it had in this video. It's probably a good thing that this building is gone now, the area needs the development and the ruins were a terrifying hazard, but it was such a magnificent structure from the past.

I live a 2 minute walk away from there It’s not as creepy as it seems The building used to be attached to the Railroad where the livestock exit to be slaughtered At 17:55 that was the bridge thats basically attach to the railroad One summer it got so hot here The bridge collapsed about six years ago The building recently caught on fire and burned for several hours.... I Believe the building is a landmark but the city will not renovate it.

OK I am thoroughly convinced. By law any property that has been abandoned for more than 10 years should be demolished and turned into an empty field. It's a public safety hazard the entirety of these buildings.

Dan Bell should download a police scanner radio app on his phone that way if he comes across someone while exploring he can just open the app, jangle some keys while he walks, and shine a bright light around, in that darkness any bad people will flee immediately. I mean, why wouldn't they if they thought the cops were walking around checking abandoned places.
