Күн бұрынNightmare on Elm Street actors Robert Englund, Toy Newkirk, Monica Keena, Brooke Theiss and Lisa Wilcox gave a cast reunion panel at Steel City Con August 2021 to talk about this epic franchise, their careers and to answer fan questions.
Robert Englund is famous for his portrayal of Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare on Elm Street movies and the Freddy’s Nightmares TV series, but is also known for his roles in the television mini-series and show V as Willie, plus Wishmaster, Urban Legend, Nightmare Café, Downtown and voice work in Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Regular Show, The Injustice 2 video game and many more.
Toy Newkirk played Sheila in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, but is also known for A Different World, The Commish, Beverly Hills 90210 and Days of Our Lives. She has also produced projects such as Born to Shine, Biography, Married Away and The Morning After.
Monica Keena portrayed Lori Campbell in Freddy vs. Jason, but has also had roles in Undeclared, Entourage, Dawson’s Creek, Private Practice and voice roles in Beavis and Butt-Head.
Brooke Theiss was Debbie in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, and has also appeared in Just the Ten of Us, Beverly Hills 90210, Home Free, Good & Evil, Growing Pains and Blossom.
Lisa Wilcox played Alice in A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master and A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. Other roles include Missy Preston in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures (the TV series), Knot’s Landing, Boy Meets World, Fear Clinic, A Place Called Hollywood and Barbee Rehab.

This makes me angry. Whoever was in charge of this panel needs to be spoken to for allowing Monica Keena onstage. It’s even worse when you turn the sound off and just watch the reactions of Brooke and Lisa when she’s speaking. My heart goes out to her but she just did not belong there. The irony is that for ANOES panel, it looks Ike sleep is the very thing she needs.

I could listen to Robert all day: his vocabulary and descriptions of his stories are magnificent. His stories of the late great Wes Craven and John Saxon, made me want to truly know them, they were fantastic. Also; his obvious nice guy genuine demeanor, just shows us what kind of amazing actor he is. To play such a demonic character as (my favourite horror character of all time) Freddy Krueger, was nothing short of spectacular.

Wow you can tell who’s seen meth heads and have them in there family cause her mannerisms gives it away so bad….everyone said how Monica went from a “it girl” back when Freddy vs Jason was released, to getting every type of surgery you can think of to fill a hollywood standard that’s in her head, or atleast what someone told her it is to get more roles…..its sad when you can tell just by looking at her it’s meth on deck fo real

Monica Keena's wellbeing must have been a nightmare for her fellow panellists, I guess we have all been in one of these elephant in the living room situations with a troubled person and it is awful for them and also so worrying for friends etc. get well soon I say.

Just watch her,and her alone through this whole video. All the weird faces and reactions she makes. She does look out of it. And I do remember getting her autograph. It was clear that something was wrong because she really had to concentrate to signed my photo. It was a bit weird. But,I do love her. Like I said,she was sweet and very polite. On a separate note,I always feel bad for anyone on a panel with Robert. Mainly because all the questions always seem to be for him,leaving everyone else with not many questions to answer. lol

I could listen to Robert talk all day. Loved him since the original "V" series. That would be my question. Any plans of a panel reunion or maybe even bring it back in some way? As for Monica...Good lord. She needs help. At one point, She was looking as if she was gonna take a nap towards the end. She was "excited" to be there I guess? :p

As soon as I put this on I noticed something wrong with Monica! Really hard to pay attention to the others when she cleary is in pain & trying so hard to keep it together. I know the celeb life is dark, so I can only imagine but hope it gets better for her! Robert is such a damn legend and & a vet & is just keeping the whole thing together & even tells the host to slow his role!!! 🤣 🤘🔥

First time watching this and feel so sorry for Monica 😢 looks like she needed a hug 😞 lost a friend of mine to drugs and watching Monica like that is just heart breaking as she seems so nice 😞 on the plus side I met Lisa and Robert at a UK convention few years and properly geeked out meeting Lisa as Alice is my fave horror heroine 😀 I remember saying to her I wish Alice had met Nancy and they could tag up to destroy freddy for good 😂

Robert is so entertaining to listen too. Monica was sad to watch...she was either high or having a reaction to some medication...sounded like she had just had a tooth pulled at times.

I just downloaded the entire Freddy's nightmares, what robert is referring to is episode 1 season 1 called "no more mr. Nice guy" which is the back story of a nightmare on elm street.

Id honestly like to see a remake of the original nightmare on elm street movie but with Robert England reprising his role as Freddy. A more modern take and we'd probably getting a cooler looking scene of the mom getting pulled through the window at the end 😄

As a few people in the comments noticed, Monica is NOT well. This is NOT the "Freddy vs. Jason" cast. This is "ANOES 4". So, WHY is Monica here? And as soon as she started talking....excessively giggling, tweaking, I was like, "Ahhh.....she desperately needs the money". Nervousness is one thing (I'll do that nervous giggle, sometimes)....but, she just kept going with the mannerisms & everything. It was like, UGH.😑

As a 52yr old I Gotta say I Loved Freddy's Nightmares. I Remember the very 1st episode was a sorta Pre-Quel You saw the whole court session of Freddy then the parents Mob and what they did and shortly after that the nightmares began. There was another show I believe came out about the same time called Monsters which was also cool.

I’ve read some opposing remarks here about what Monica Keena may or may not be going through. I can only say that it involves some neurological component, whether it’s drugs or the onset of something else. Who cares why she’s suffering? She obviously IS. I just offer my love & prayers to her. She seems to be such a sweetheart. I’ve had a crush on her since F vs J, & to be honest, when I saw her in the 2010 doc. Never Sleep Again

Poor Monica, everytime she starts to talk I'm uncomfortable for her. It's very scattered thoughts and looks like the whole panel knows, I saw Lisa pat Robert on the shoulder early on while Monica spoke the first time. I wonder what her story is, we are the same generation I remember her in other things so this breaks my heart.

Ever since she started dating Edward Furlong, a heavy drug user, she’s gone on a downward spiral. He got her into drugs. So sad to see the effects on her.
