See how drastic the price differences are between the two houses shown in this video.
After running these Merida streets for a few days, we ran across a rental sign that changed everything.
We were not expecting to get all of what we found for the price. It was shocking; but deals like this can be had if you're patient and know where and how to find them.
The rent would have been cheaper if the place was unfurnished. I can't even imagine that.

I didn't know this attorney. The homeowner will generally have an attorney do paperwork on their behalf. We'll get an attorney to review the contract and make recommended changes based on their suggestion. They literally treat renting a house like a full blown closing as if you were buying a house in the States. It's serious business for them here lol

Yes. Hot water in the house. Internet and utilities are paid by the tenant (Niki)

Good question! Initially i was having problems because it wouldn't work because I was in Mexico. Then I went through VPN and it worked. Now it works WITHOUT VPN ... I don't know if they changed something.

Nice, but personally I think it's still too much. You shouldn't pay no more than $400 for the 2 bedroom. I can get that for $300 in the Gambia with fruits falling off my trees in my yard. I'm just sharing

Thanks for your feedback, appreciate it. The second house in this video has 3 bedrooms plus a large studio (which could be a 4th bedroom). The house is huge and on a huge lot and gated and walled ... And furnished (partially). It's hard to gauge the size from the video but it's humongous... There are plenty of 2 bedroom homes out here that could be had for $150-$200

They called it a studio (it doesn't have a 'closet' but it does have a full bathroom). Could be used as a bedroom. But they're calling it a studio plus 3 additional bedrooms
