One of the reasons this show is so good that some people overlook. They make an honest effort to illustrate the difficulties that soldiers face when they come home.

I think he survives because he's a grey area not quite a bad guy but not a good guy either so he gets smacked around a bit but never more than that

Congratulations on your birthday. Yes, the Punisher-series has got some positive review because they lift the trauma veterans have when getting home. And the lack of support from the government. Much of the help veterans get is from volunteers. I love the part when Frank get back to base and yells at Micro with a pink rifle. Hilarious! Kind regards from Sweden

In case you missed it. That guy selling those guns is Turk Barrett and he is in all the marvel netflix series. Also he pretty much always gets his ass kicked by the main characters. 😂 PS. New subscriber here.

when I first watched the punisher I felt like I couldn't trust anyone ether other then micro and punisher, but that goofy guy that works for homeland.. you guys can trust him, that's all i'm gonna say. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIKKI!

Turk is a long-standing character from the comics. He's the go-to snitch for pretty much every street-level Marvel character. Daredevil's beaten him up, Spider-Man's beaten him up, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Domino, the Punisher, all of them. The joke is that no matter what happens, Turk always survives.

I just realized a language error. My mother tongue is Swedish. In Swedish we say "congratulations on your birthday", "grattis på födelsedagen". In the USA and most English speaking country you say "Happy birthday". Mea culpa, I wrote too fast. Happy birthday Nikki!

Nikki & Steven: *sees Turk, likes him and immediately roots for him to live* Me: yup. sounds about right. Everyone loves em some Turk. The man is a Marvel Netflix icon. Never has a side character consistently gotten into trouble with the hero of every show he's in no matter what city it takes place in. The man's a criminal national treasure and is to be protected.

One of the great moral failures of this country is how we send men and women into combat, then forget about them when they come home. There is absolutely no justification for why every, single soldier should not have free access to as much health care as they need, especially mental health care.
