I just started watching your videos. I’m 74 and prior to the pandemic wore makeup everyday. Wearing the mask, I would just get up and get ready for work. Since watching you, I’ve come to realize that wearing makeup is not for others but to make me feel better. I need a concealer, but unfortunately, my under eye skin is crepey and i find that using a concealer an/or color corrector actually makes it look worse. I have several expensive concealers and have been unhappy with all of them. I do use a high end moisturizer, and add in hyaluronic acid for under eyes. I really think the makeup is a problem. I would love to see you do a video for a model who has crepey skin- pretty please!

I started watching your channel after my husband of 32 years passed away. He was only 57 and I literally couldn’t do anything. The first tube of Tarte Shape Tape I bought I returned it. I looked dead. Then I had my makeup done at a spa and I looked like a movie star. No dark under eye circles. I ask what she used and she showed me Shape Tape. I bought it one more time. Dampen sponge, put tiny dab on face and pat it on . Build it slowly. Honestly it looks like my skin but the coverage is so good no more dark circles. Nothing I have used has done this well. A setting spray with a little glow is nice over the top.

Most of my life I have loved makeup, I have done/helped do stage make up for over 20 years. Absolutely love doing it, much different than everyday makeup but really Fun to do. I am 84 years old now, don’t “do” make up anymore, but I still wear it and love to find new things and ways to do my own face! Watching most videos on fb, utube Etc. I got frustrated , the ladies looked so fake and way too made up!! That is until I found your videos! You are beautiful, with or without makeup and your programs are so real life and, practical that I watch them all and have learned so much on how to do my makeup at my age. I have shared your tips, show and products with several friends who are excited also. Love the “natural looks” you do, nothing is tackier than an older lady made up like a clown !! You keep on doing what you do and your great products too. Wishing you days of blessings as you help keep my generation looking pretty naturally and having fun doing it ! Gosh Nikol, you’re one beautiful lady with beautiful big eyes, perfect lips, beautiful hair. I love your brows (my brows are almost gone). My eyes used to be nice and big, now at 66 everything is sagging and drooping, lol, but I still do my makeup every morning (got it down to 10 mins using your tips and tricks). I’ve been using this concealer for about a year now. I do agree that the applicator is a bit much. Watching you use a concealer brush is so much better. You don’t use much product then which again can be a bit much. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!

Gonna have to try this again in the moisturizing formula. You have helped me so much with makeup application, specifically eyeshadow, since I never really learned or felt I needed it. I love my Tarte creamy concealer! I do use it sparingly and I apply it with a small round flattish brush. It lasts all day for me without having to retouch. I’m over 55 and it works perfectly for me. Thank you for sharing your review!!

Hi Nicole, I have been using this concealer for over a year now and I love it. I have a drawer full of others but I always reach for this. I never have a problem with it creasing. I will be turning 72 in a few day and my face is dry but i don't have too many wrinkles jut the sagging. I'm a sagger not a sinker so that maybe that is the reason. I love your videos. PS I bought your heated eyelash curler and I love it. ❤😍

I really enjoy your videos. I used to wear a ton of make up, and I enjoy being more natural now. The only over the top thing for me was to color my hair, but after seeing how beautiful you are with the silver gorgeous hair, I am letting my hair grow to however it wants. I am embracing what comes with age. Y youngest child just turned 16, and he was horrified at first, but as it grows more, it actually looks better. I think you do a wonderful job at explaining everything, and we send love back to you!

Thank you for this! You know which one I find to work better is the Tarte Creaseless concealer. Shape Tape concealers/foundations I didn;t care for it. I got it in 16n, too. Settled in lines too much even when set. I have fair/light skin and use the Tarte Creaseless concealer in Light. Just covers well and color is perfect. So glad to have found your channel.

I actually really like the Tarte creamy concealer but I had a huge learning curve with application as you said "a little goes a very long way". I now dab my ring finger with the product and work my 2 ring fingers together to warm up the product then I dab. Helped me so much. I only use this one when I do a "more" make up look. I do set it with the tiniest about of finely milled powder (literally, the tiniest amount!). Nikol, your videos always always inspire and make me feel so good about myself and my age. Thank you!!!!

The concealer looks lovely on you. I have tried both Shape Tapes, several Lancome concealers and many drugstore brands- unfortunately, all creased and caked. I discovered a new to me brand called Fiore (from the blog The Barefoot Contessa) and it works beautifully. I am 67 and have wrinkles & the dark line in the trough but this concealer goes on beautifully. I did find that it does settle in my lines when I am outside in the heat for several hours.

Nikol, I would kill to have you do my makeup! I never wore much, just a little mascara, but since I've grown out my gray I'm finding I need some makeup now that I'm 71, to keep from looking washed out. I'm following your channel and one or two others and trying things here or there but I am afraid of looking over made up. Part of the problem is that I don't have good lighting so I tend to go very light for fear that my makeup will be too intense. And then when I leave the house it looks like I have nothing on. Aaarrgghh! Love your channel.

This always creases on me unless I use Milani eyeshadow primer. Yes I use it both on eyelids and under eyes. I use Milani eyeshadow primer before the Nikol eyeshadow primer and concealer. That stuff works miracles by preventing any creasing and you don’t need any powder. Powder under the eyes accentuates my wrinkles. Powder under the eyes is a no go for me. I do find that you have to let the concealer set for about 20-30 seconds before going in with the sponge otherwise it disappears. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks Nikole for all of your help. 12-year-old is interested in makeup. Could you do some kind of a tutorial for young teens? We've agreed to attempted sunscreen by CeraVe and a tinted lip balm from Burt's bees. Wow Nikol your make up is so stunning . You look beautiful... I am 72 yrs old and have always tried to take care of my skin since a very young age. I have gotten so much out of your videos. I watch them constantly. I am on a fixed income (SS) so my funds are limited as to what I can spend. I like that you take that into consideration when doing your afforable make up videos. I just would like to thank you for making me feel beautiful again by all your makeup tricks. God Bless ❤

I tried this product and I loved how creamy and brightening it was. However u have very deep circles under my eyes and the concealer accentuated them. The customer service was excellent and did take back the product.

Great video as always. Do you have a video on reducing pores? Sometimes foundation makes them look worse

Can't change pores, unfortunately. Use a pore blurring primer, it will help a lot. I hope this helps. I have a texture problem, because of my dry skin. I prime everything, lol!

I have been using E.L.F. they have several good primers. L'Oreal has a good one too. It is kind of a trial and error method, to find one that works for you.

OMG, I have watched you for a while. Your advice is priceless. You share so much. Here is my problem. I have never had bold eyebrows, Swedish descent? No flippin eyebrows to pluck... a few I suppose when my friend at the age of 15 decided to pluck them. They never grew back. I do pencil in at the age of 62. You, sweetie, have a face, features, and guidance from your Diva Angels...and you listen. Thank you!

Love your tutorials. question: is there a way to look good whether in good lighting or bad or different mirrors. I can apply makeup and feel it looks good but then change rooms/mirrors/lighting and look worse. (wrinkles showing more, etc). I am 74 years. Tks.
