The Nikon FE 's shutter speed was limited to 1/1000. The Nikon FE2 increased the speed. Product knowledge.

In Uk if you want to buy one of these classic cameras you need over £150 or so just for the camera body that is depending on where you are buying from

Great overview of a great camera, Stefano. I've never shot a Nikon for film bc of my aversion to their current line's video shortcomings. I know that's dumb, but I've just never given one a shot. These seem like a good place to start if I were to, though.

I was the same way! The Nikon FG was the foot in the door for me. Nikon’s are sturdy metal workhorses you can’t go wrong!

Nikon film SLRs are one of the best most reliable machines you could ever buy. Especially considering the price they go for. Huuuuge lens compatibility and just all around excellent experience.

Amazing!! So a lens fabricated in the 80s with auto-focus, or more recent; could work on Nikon FE?
