Nikon P1000 Quick Release Plate

2 years ago, I bought my first 3d printer to try and make a better mount for this camera. Now I have multiple 3d printers, create a ton of different things and am even selling these Nikon P1000 Quick Release Plates on Etsy!

I purchased your bracket and love it. But, I have one complaint. The edges on the whole bracket are very sharp and it cut my finger. So, I took very fine sandpaper and sanded the edges of the whole bracket. Now it's perfect.

This is brilliant. Had lots of issues with my P900 on a tripod and upgraded to the P1000 and this product will solve all those issues I had with the P900.

Κούμπωσε με απίστευτη ευκολία στην κάμερά μου Nikon P1000 και την εφάρμοσα στο τρίποδό μου επίσης πολύ εύκολα. Έχει απίστευτη σταθερότητα τώρα η κάμερα αφού μοιράστηκε σωστά το βάρος της μηχανής. Είμαι πολύ ευχαριστημένος και από την ποιότητα που έχει το προϊόν (Nikon P1000 Quick Release Plate) σου καθώς επίσης και τον πολύ γρήγορο χρόνο που το παρέλαβα. I just received my P1000 yesterday, made a few tests on tripod and right after I ordered one them :). I am looking forward to try it with the camera. This product was a great idea, I hope you will sell a lot of them.

@mal you can use it handheld, I keep it on the camera all the time. it is helping a lot. Handheld anyway is not easy with the p1000, I haven't managed to take sharp pictures or videos handheld so far

@mal Hi mate, I often remove it from the the tripod and use it in my hands. Ever so slightly cumbersome but perfectly useable. It’s a great bit of kit.

Hey there!! I just ordered one of these from your etsy store for my P1000 last night - found out about this from SUPERZOOM! I have been really concerned about the weight of the lens, once it sort of....clunked forward, and I almost passed out from anxiety lol....SSsssoooo....Been using a big old Velbon Chaser for many years, and also considering a new tripod where I can use the quick release and have a more fluid head to move around as I am looking up at the sky and for birds! :) Looking forward to the gear! Hi Joel, or anyone can respond, at 28 seconds you held up a device with a handle on it. What is it called? I am not familiar enough with tripod accessory terminology. It would enable the photographer to move the camera without actually touching the camera. I like the handle.

Tripod fluid head, fluid video head, or just fluid head. It's used for shooting video on a tripod. The handle allows you to pan and tilt the camera very smoothly while recording, and like you said, without touching the camera itself. How are the inserts secured? Strong enough?

They are heated to like 400 degrees and melted in. I’ve never had one come out and actually can’t get them out if I need to. I use the extra long high quality ones.

Now that is a question that needs answering! I would assume that if it could fit it could work.. likely only on the 3 version (the largest one)

Hey! Which version of the print did you try? I haven't uploaded the latest one on there yet but I believe that only the last 2 versions have a hole for the threaded insert
