@Comic Breakdown I'm done with comics I'm sorry but I hate and I do mean HATE the whole let's just throw shit and more shit and even more SHIT to stick to the old SHIT mentality that comics have nowadays. I understand that you can't kill off a hero or a villain because they need all that money in your pockets but, when you purposely negate the power set of a character to make them win or lose. It leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. And don't forget that other superhero teams do exist even if they're not popular, so someone like The Inhumans or Eternals is just sitting back with a bucket of popcorn watching the world end. Not to mention the aneurysm-inducing plot holes that are wide enough for Manifold to transport universes though! Let's not forget that this era also brought us the information that Jean was sleeping with both Logan and Scott which made me love all three of those characters a little less because if you want to be gay you want to be bi have at it just have a little respect for yourself tho. I mean sloppy seconds and thirds are just gross. Imagine if you had two different versions of Jean with all the Resurrection shenanigans going on one with Logan and one with Scott. Just think of what they could have done if they did that and then the Phoenix shows up all confused because there are two authentic Jean Greys no! I'm just too old for this silly let's have our cake and eat it mentality that people have had with comics! The superhero Renaissance is finally dead! Now let's let them rest and move on! Decades ago by now, Grant Morrison's entire point in Here Comes Tomorrow is that if you allow unlimited resurrection, eventually you will just get stories looping back and consuming bits and pieces of themselves over and over again, in a meta-story equivalent to Sublime the villain.

Like I am truly trying to like the X men but it's been the same song and dance most big event. "Something too big for us to handle so we need jean to save us but she dies, and we retcon the Pheonix and Jean hears Cyclops voice before she dies, stays alive face the big bad and everyone is save and Humans hate mutants again. Oh wait, the government needs a secret organization to go track down mutants." Yep think that sums most of it up

Love them highlighting Storm coming through to save the day. Categorizing Cyclops as an Omega seemed like a stretch. This whole ending seemed rushed, but im excite for what is to come

Appreciate the videos you make. The quality of X-Men stories themselves though has taken a hit. In the past Storm's lightning wouldn't make a dent on Nimrod. There's nothing clever about his end. The desperate angle of the phoenix rising yet again makes it feel like an X-Men running gag as opposed to something serious. Magneto saying "I underestimated you before" lol. Who would underestimate Nimrod, who killed him already many times over. The writing just isn't great these days.

I was disappointed by this issue. It was missing other mutants who should have been included in the final fight with the Nimrods and ORCHIS including Iceman, Bishop, Cable (or Kid Cable), Madelyne Pryor, Havok, Betsy Braddock, Domino, Juggernaut, Exodus, Forge, etc. - what the hell happened to them while all of this was going on?

I thought Nimrod was never as strong as the first attack on the mother mold when he sacrificed one his instances (duplicates) to absorb the black hole bomb or whatever WMD it was. If you recall that was when the remaining essence and memories of Dr. Gregory’s husband were lost. I believe another duplicate of Nimrod was destroyed a few episodes back as well, so wouldn’t Nimrod technically be weaker than before?

Storm’s victory over Nimrod felt like rushed fan service. Nimrod was shown much stronger than this.

I wish we got a Apocalypse vs Nimrod as a final battle but I'm always happy to see that they are showing storm off (also the only Mutate right now that hasn't died if not mistaken) and Cyclopes was he always saying "storm" would not let him die or "Jean" 🤔 but like you said Krakoa seems perfectly fine and almost everyone is back on the island and hopefully Omega Sentinel will turn good like they really should have done with Sabertooth killed him and resurrected the "Axis" version him. Also where TF is Rasputin🤨 unless she too was on the island

Maybe I'm missing something here but as I see it neither Nimrod or Omega sentinel are pure AI as in they both come from human minds and that has been their demise. One more thing, with all these duplicates Nimrod feels like a cheaper version of Ultron.

While I appreciate the story and how epic their were going for, I feel it really suffered from too many connected issues. They didn't gel to cohesively. I feel it would have been way better to have a crossover like messiah complex were each book county as a chapter. Also have the end of xforce, this, and sabertooth war going at the samw time, it's hard to tell where wolverine is actually supposed to be. I hope they don't continue this way of storytelling.

Felt rushed. Felt half assed. Felt like this entire battle should gave been a three part mini series with far more mutants fight way more nimrods that have anticipated damn near all of them. I mean this could gave turned into its own story arch for the next 12-24 months with the stuff that a lot of us fans could have come up with even if mutants lost, and the universe or whatever retreated them to mars. Tgen you get the house of nimrod story, and with the mutants gone the rest of humanity and its heroes have to fight nimrod who then joins with ultron making it a far bigger threat. Avengers FF are fighting back but are overwhelmed even with with the help of (fill in the blanks team and etc) and humanity are getting rounded up for extermination by the Ai nimrods, Ultranimrods, discover the magical properties of mysterium start getting power jacked by dormammu, Alm that happening on earth while the mutant race is on mars with storm rallying the solar systems mutants to invade earth to liberate the humans from the Ai ultranimrods. I mean THAT would be epic. But no.
