I love that when she took pauses to really process what she wanted to say, the interviewer would start to try to steer the conversation, but as soon as Nina found her spark and let it out, he would stop and just listen to her genius.

It's like she just found a way to describe it. She was speechless with herself. She was stunned because it's a such a goood explanation. She was reflecting so much on what she just said. I wish I was in her mind at that same moment

Now I see Where Lauryn Hill got her inspiration, and why she delivers a song the way she does. I always knew about the Icon Simone but never really paid much attention until this one boring night, and now I can't get enough. Im going through all her interview clips back to back. She is amazing.

Me too! I was doing homework the other night n her song came up. I had KZfaq buried behind lots of open windows so I didn’t know who was on. a quarter into the song I thought, my god, this persons piano playing is amazing - mind you I was concentrated at my CSS n HTML HW but ms Simone’s presence, her singing, words, her genius piano playing n everything that’s coming thru from her soul can easily grab anyone’s attention! Want to kn more ab her!

She’s saying feel. It’s just a feeling. But we live in a world everything has to be explained. Even I sometimes socked my self of doing it. People are brainwashed nowadays. Of being likable of being influential ect. I understand her so clearly…. Some things are just a feeling…. Like love like freedom like being expected like being human being happy being accepted being loved being known feeling love feeling save! ect ect: people forget to feel but only react of what they known from seeing….. feel..🙏🏼
