Trent Reznor is brilliant; this song resonates with me on a visceral level. He is brilliant at articulating ragged, raw emotion here.

The Broken EP as a whole is awesomely mastered. It amazes me how 20 years later, most albums don't sound nearly as good as this. I blame the loudness war, and the simple fact that most studio techs aren't as talented as Trent.

This song is pure, raw emotion. What Trent does best.

I remember I as young and for some untold reason I picked up this as my first album at the mall. Thankfully the store clerk didn't mind selling this tape to a 9 year old. Nine Inch Nails was my first introduction into music other than the radio songs, and later Nirvana. This album, and especially this song, always holds a place in my heart.

Perfect music with lyrics that pierced to how I felt as a 1990s 20yr old; alien in a world of annoying deliberate morons. 30yrs later I got an ASD diagnosis, I don't hate everyone, but I still *love* this song.

I remember getting broken in 6th grade listened to Wish for 6 hrs straight my grandma threw the tape out the car window in the mountains

Trents songwriting is not otherworldly or godly or perfect, its just perfect raw human emotion. And thats what makes him a fucking brilliant artist!!!!!!!!

What an amazing song. Nine Inch Nails are arguably the best Music acts in the 90's. This probably the greatest EP of all time. Nine Inch Nails studio albums are fantastic. Downward Spiral, Pretty Hate Machine, and The Fragile are masterpieces. 90's was the last great decade for Mainstream music..

This is such a well expressed and interesting musical work; its really quite interesting and captivating to listen to, I think it goes really well with how the Broken album is put together.
