There is a vocal part in BGM keeps saying 「苦難鑄英雄」 means " Heros are forged in agony", which is also Jiequan's last word

Fun fact, you can actually have the option to not put the poison and you will beat Jiequan in hard mode, but putting the poison will unlock an achievement

I’ve done the fight with and without the poison, and I think the poison only makes him cough in phase 1, and maybe he has less health.

I had the poison in my run but I didn't know you could poison him, but his fight is the best fight I've had so far

Kanghui, the creature in the cangue/shrew's fiddle (the neck and wrist restraint) in the jade guillotine, disturbs me greatly. Both for the pain he is in as well as the extent of engineering that people can go to make a spectacle of ending someone's life.

i friggin love the next boss, she basically tests everything you know and the fight is thematically what picks up the story for me

Myth: You can extend your Arial combo by doing three attacks and then using the bow once. I managed to get Goumang from full health to 5% in one go with three arrows.

Please try to do everything - sidequest and bring Shuanshuan lots of gifts and also poison for Shennong. I NEED to see you fight the true final boss!

I stand in agreement with this statement. I find myself more interested in Nine Sols than i expected myself to be and i'm glad that Myth is enjoying it a lot himself.

when fighting Jiequan theres honestly 2 things what will happen 1. its where you didnt pour the poison before the boss fight and you will get a cool music and 2. theres an extra dialogue and the music isnt the same

wait I beat him and don't even know what that poison is for later on until watching this video, the poison will make him easier but i recommend fight him with no poison because it also a very cool fight
