I think they're going to announce who will be in the new Zelda movie that they're making kinda like how Nintendo announced who would be the voices in The Super Mario Bros. movie couple years back.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD. Not sure if this has leaked or not, but the series hasn’t had any sort of release in 6 years, and there is a theme park opening in a few months heavily based on Returns. It can be a simple upscale or a full remake, but either way it’s perfect for the holidays for all these reasons and more And don’t give me that Pushmo hope, please😭

I'm praying for something Metroid related this direct, be it prime 4 or a prime 2 & 3 remaster. I personally think that, based on the rumors and stuff from the Nintendo insiders, we'll see prime 4 tomorrow and get a release date for fall or holiday 2024, but that's just me. If not tomorrow, hopefully at the fall direct. Edit (6/18/24 after the direct): well, i was right! Partially, at least. We did see prime 4 today, but it's coming out 2025. I don't mind that tbh, because at least we know the game exists and is almost done, and that it'll be on switch and not the successor (although it could still be cross-gen which i wouldn't mind at all because i dont have to blow a crap ton of money on a new console just to play metroid prime 4).

Very lofty predictions. I think people would be upset with your DK prediction (assuming it’s made by retro) until the prime 4 reveal. But even then they’d probably still be upset because it would’ve been the thing presumably delaying prime 4 for this long
