Not even in the slightest..... Dolphin had Wii common decryption keys included, which was part of illegal numbers clause in Law. Yuzu doesn't provide anything, you need as many other emulators supply copyrighted content yourself.

I can't 100% side with Yuzu on this one, as they profited off of something that Nintendo is still profiting off of. It be different, if this was 2025 as then it would be more about game preservation.

It's already been speculated that Nintendo are sitting on some big releases until 2025 when they drop their console's successor. Any additional sales will tide them over during a dry spell.

Yes they want you to pay for a subscription to play legal ROMS on their legal emulators, you can't even buy those ROMS unlike the Wii virtual machine.

Ya, apparently he did want to quit making news vids and did so briefly, because he thought streaming would suit his current life situation better, but, he choose to come back after closing the news side down and letting go of his editor. People change their mind about stuff and when you have a sick child and volatile career like an online personality that's a lot of stress added into the mix. Also I kinda disagree with you say xcde and xc3 are fitting example, xenoblade games run fine on Switch. Especially xc3, you don't need emulate this game to run any better in order to enjoy it lol. And imo, and kinda hot take, I prefer jrpgs in 30 fps way more than 60 fps, 60 fps and above can sometimes gives people nausia easily btw.

My experiences with JRPGs have mostly been at 30 fps, but there's a difference between a solid 30 fps and a 20-30 fps. 60 is unnecessary for the games I've listed, but it's highly requested. Also, you're right about XC3. It was the best-looking one out of the bunch, but emulating it still made the visuals pop much more and completely eliminated any distracting frame drops. Solid 1080p 30, even when the party is maxed during combat. I agree that these can all be 'tolerated' and enjoyed as is (anyone who says otherwise has no authority over someone else's enjoyment), but I disagree that it's better, and I can't wait for the Switch 2. Hopefully, Nintendo make a console that is more advanced and, therefore, more difficult to emulate.

Switch emulation was only ever possible from the hardware exploit with the original model. I am doubtful Nintendo will make the same mistake again.

These companies will never wake up and smell the coffee tho, especially when you consider that they could eliminate a lot of the piracy on Switch (which is probably low to begin with) by not overpricing games. Other little things too, like a virtual console instead of a bad online service. Software devs making programs to let you do whatever you feel with the hardware you bought don't have anything to do with people leaking roms and downloading them anyway. Idk, what do I know, I'm on pc...
